[2025 Taishan ] Travel guide for Yihe Hotspring Resort (updated Dec)

#November Getaways 2025 The hot spring hotel is newly renovated, so the room facilities are all very new. Our hot spring room had an outdoor bathing terrace, so it offered a high degree of privacy. The terrace overlooked a picturesque village with lush green houses. The hotel has a restaurant (for buffet breakfast and dinner) and a small café. There's also a small shop selling local products, swimwear, snacks, and drinks. Additionally, there's a mini-game area (paid arcade games and claw machines), and outdoor photo spots and animal feeding areas (rabbits and piglets). The hotel also has a comprehensive hot spring area with twenty to thirty baths, surrounded by low green plants. Although the weather was cold, there were still mosquitoes 😅. The park thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent free of charge. There weren't many staff members, so it was mostly self-service; you had to find your own towels and pour your own hot tea (compensated ginger tea/monk fruit tea). This hot spring area has a particularly special spot, a "Secret Insect View" area that's incredibly beautiful for photos at night and will also be popular with children. The water temperature in the hot spring area is around 38-43°C, but I don't feel any difference each time except for the temperature. Live performances like *Modern Times* and *Red Wedding* are highly engaging, and the nighttime iron-smelting and fireworks shows are spectacular. • Kaiping Diaolou and Villages: A World Cultural Heritage site, the Zili Village Diaolou cluster, surrounded by rice paddies, was a filming location for *Let the Bullets Fly*. Liyuan Garden, a private garden of overseas Chinese, blends Chinese and Western styles. The Shibansha Ferry operates from 6:00 to 18:30, costing 30 yuan per vehicle round trip and 3-5 yuan per person one way. • Clothing: For island and water town visits, light-colored clothing is recommended, along with a sun hat and sunglasses. For photos in ancient towns, try retro or modern Chinese style outfits to complement the architecture. The only drawback is that there are no towels to change in the hot spring area, and the wet towel is a bit cold🥶 day2: Got up at 8.30, the buffet breakfast variety is quite rich: Western pastries, Chinese dragon pastries, porridge noodles, intestines (market price 88 yuan/person) 🔶Go to the hot spring at 10.00 (market price 188 yuan/person), two people found a less crowded pool No. 2 near the dressing room, listening to songs and soaking until more than 12.00 before returning to the hotel! The hot spring water quality feels good, the whole body is slippery after soaking! 🔶Decided to go to Liang Zhen's recommended Xichuan Farm for lunch. The lychee charcoal roast goose here is famous (168 yuan/only, 88 yuan/half), two people don't need to eat, so they didn't order, ordered a few seafood, the price is affordable: Xichuan Seafood Wharf Restaurant (Guanghai Road Intersection Store) (Shuibao Baoxing Eel Rice Branch) Oysters (pepper water soak) 78 yuan Shangchuan Sha Bai (steamed over water) 25 yuan, sweet Scallops (garlic vermicelli steamed +2*4)(1 open 2) 20 yuan Sea shrimp (blanched +0.5*10)38 yuan, the meat is fresh and delicious Cucumber flower (salted egg yolk stir-fry) 38 yuan, a big plate Red date cake (gift), the red date flavor is so fragrant! 🌈day3: 🔶Go for breakfast at 7.30: The pork rice noodle is good, but the meat is a bit less, the pork liver soup noodle is delicious!
