#The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Halal brunch in singapore botanic garden 🌸🌺
📍The Halia If you're looking for a cute little brunch place that is halal this is perfect! 🤍 Located in botanical gardens, the Halia is also a vegetarian friendly cafe too.
▪️Getting there ▪️ 🚶🏽♀️It's about a 20mins walk from botanic gardens MRT 🚘 If you're taking a cab the closest drop off point is — The learning forest carpark.
▪️What we ordered ▪️ 01 Chilli crab eggs & toast — This was delicious! Generous amount of gravy and it pairs really well with the eggs and toast.
02 Rendang beef on toast — I would 100% recommend this! The rendang is delicious and it surprisingly pairs really well with the toast & beets. It does take a while for the dish to come out tho!
03 Chicken breast & asparagus — Keto friendly & super healthy. The flavours are a bit lacklustre, I would not
recommend ordering this unless you're on a diet haha.
04 Pastry basket — Skip this! The pastries are not super yummy + it's cold & not fluffy. It comes with a side of condiments.
We also ordered an ice & hot latte (avoid!) — It's too milky and you can't taste the coffee at all. The flat white was decent & pretty strong! ☺️
⭐️ They offer a $8 free flow brewed coffee & tea till noon which is a great deal.

The Halia:Romantic Botanical al-fresco dining
Address - 1 Cluny Rd, Ginger Garden Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore 259569
Highlights - Botanical al-fresco surroundings, Western fusion food & drinks
Avg. Price per Person - $50-$70
Rating - Our party of 3 managed to make a same day reservation for dinner at 7pm at The Halia, the pretty restaurant is enchantingly surrounded by greenery as it's situated within 200m from entrance of the Botanical gardens.
We enjoyed our hot ginger-honey cinnamon tea while overlooking the many leafy plants dancing in the evening breeze! Mains that were served shortly were all well executed in terms of flavours- paper-baked oven fish in savoury jap-soy sauce w mushroom made us clean off last grain of pearl rice in bowl, Waygu rump steak perfectly tender n seasoned, chilli crab spahagtti nothing to complain about too.
The Halia is indeed a chillax al-fresco dining restaurant suited for celebratory occasions with mid-priced point.#eatsg #foodie

Birthday Dinner @ The Halia
Address - 1 Cluny Rd, Ginger Garden Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore 259569
Avg. Price per Person - $40+/pax
Rating - 4/5
Located inside Botanic Garden, The Halia is a good splurge for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, etc! Although the location can seem. little inconvenient especially for those not driving in, do not let that dampened your spirits down because the food & service will surely make up for it 👍🏻
We were greeted by friendly staff throughout our time there & the service was prompt. We ordered Truffle Fries as starters, chili crab spaghetti & the slow cooked chicken and it was really good!
Although we ate from the all-day menu, I do however feel like the Brunch menu seems more appetising for my taste. Will come again during brunch to feast 😍

Dine with greenery The Halia, Botanic Gardens
The Halia, which Halia means ginger / ginger plant in Malay, is a Halal certified restaurant at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Outdoor seats and indoor seats are available. I enjoyed the outdoor seating. A dining in a park experience, surrounded by plants and trees. It was cooling as well, with the high-speed powered ceiling fans above us.
The food was great, a plus for the ambience and also the staff were polite and efficient. You can get to experience the beauty of Singapore Botanic Gardens in the day and in the night if you choose to dine at the restaurant during evenings. Take a leisurely relaxing walk around the garden and enjoy the fresh air that the Botanic Gardens offers you.
Location - Next to the National Orchid Garden
How to get there - Just a suggestion, the walk from Tanglin gate - Orchard to the Halia is shorter than walking from Bukit Timah gate

This is such a romantic place for lovers. The restaurant is Surrounded by nature and good food. There's nothing to not like here. Amidst lush greenery and pristine forest air, it's truly "Love's in the air". The food here is fantastic. They are masters with flavour and use of herbs. It’s so in line with the whole experience of dining in the Botanical Gardens.

First botanic dining
Had a chance to be there for the set meal due to event. Really enjoy the ambience and the food. Servers were attentive and fast in doing the turn around of food item.
Always been to botanic gardens but this is the first time i ate at the restaurant located in it!
Restaurant is quite a walk in from both entrance so you get to stroll through the park first before getting nice food. Will definitely want to return with friends!
