Carnival
#mysgmemories filled with sweetness. During #summerbreak when its super hot and humid, ice cream comes to the rescue!
Tired of everyday life but can't go overseas yet? Just act as foreigner and go discover Singapore more lah. Very crowded with many people from other country make you feel like its not Singapore mah. Beside, this place is more western concept.
Like its name, it is in #bazaar or carnival setting. So many people queue for this homemade ice cream. Various flavors you can choose somemore. Perfect for the sunny weather.
Hotel Ora Staycaytion Review
Remember the family friendly Festive Hotel at Resorts World Sentosa? Turns out they newly renovated and rebranded to Hotel Ora!
Hotel Ora is now a beautiful and cozy hotel with modern designs & colourful elements. My favourite part of the hotel is the sofa— it’s so comfortable and big enough for another person to sleep on, and it is also super cute!!
What made the hotel experience better are the Smart TV with in built Netflix & Youtube, and the dual sinks in the toilet so you don’t have to wait for the other person to wash up (you do still need to wait for them when they have to use the 🚽🤭)
There is also a self service snack-bar area at the lobby if you ever want to purchase a bite in the middle of the night. Though it can be quite pricy, the Tiramisu in a jar was definitely worth $13 for it’s portion and taste!
I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this place to couples and friends!

Van Gogh inspired gifts and deserts!
If you feel inspired by Van Gogh's artworks after the exhibition, you can bring back a couple of unique gifts inspired by the artworks. It covers items such as T-shirt, coasters, magnets and plates.
Another highlight not to be missed are the various drinks, ice cream and desserts inspired by the artworks. Some of them are in collaboration with celebrity chefs so you can be sure that the desserts are of high quality. The shop is also decorated with paintings so it definitely makes the whole experience more complete.

Immerse in Van Gogh life pieces
As recommended by friends, I've decided to visit this exhibition and it definitely live up to it's expectations. It has many instagramable spots to take photos. There are also many infographic diagrams showcasing Van Gogh's tragic lifeline and how his inspiration for the artworks come about.
Another highlight for the exhibition are the various venues that recreates Van Gogh's artworks with animations to better depict what Van Gogh was trying to convey in the various art pieces. You can really stay in the venue for hours to slowly immerse in his world!
This exhibition is still ongoing for a couple of months so don't miss the chance to visit it. One tip for those going is to check the pricing for the tickets before planning for the trip as it fluctuates based on the slot availability for the day.

Vincent van Gogh Immersive Experience
An immersive Van Gogh experience typically involves transforming a large space, such as a warehouse or exhibition hall, into a dynamic and multimedia environment.
High-definition projections of Van Gogh's famous paintings are displayed on walls, floors, and other surfaces, often accompanied by music and sound effects that complement the visuals. Visitors can walk through the space, feeling as though they are stepping into the paintings and experiencing the artwork from a whole new perspective.

if you are in Singapore and would like to look for something to do , yet do not really like to be at outdoors , then I would suggest you to visit the sea aquarium and resorts world sentosa. it is easily accessible by train to HarbourFront mrt station and thereafter take the monorail to the resorts world sentosa. you can pre purchase your tickets so you can skip the long queue on the day itself. visit the sea aquarium and learn more about all these sea animals as well as fun and interesting facts. see nice fishes like the dory and all. suggest taking some cool photographs here too as it’s really a nice place to be at.
Fantastic buffet spread
Address - Sessions Restaurant, Hard Rock Hotel, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
If you have a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel at Resorts World Sentosa, I highly recommend you to get a breakfast-inclusive rate as the spread at Sessions Restaurant is really wide! They have everything from your American breakfast items, to
Chinese items, to Indian items, just a massive international buffet to choose from. I really enjoyed their potato salad.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

RWS Liho
#meetsingapore
This Liho outlet at RWS is always in a long queue. I was fourth in the queue and I also had to wait about 30 minutes before I could order. Then wait again to collect my drinks. So if you really want some bubble tea, Please send in your orders online before you go over to collect your drinks. The decoration of this outlet is also very unique. The entire counter is designed like it is an oversize trishaw. There is also a real bicycle seat too but it is only for display. Also, if you want to join in the queue then please make sure you already know what you want to order so you will not hold up the queue.
RWS Starbucks
#meetsingapore
I like this Starbucks outlet at RWS as I was just at Hard Rock Hotel Singapore. It is just a stone throw for me. The environment at this Starbucks is also very welcoming and you can sit at their bar counter and order coffee or tea on tap. It is their nitro brew and it is interesting to see the barista making non-alcoholic drinks in this manner. There is also alfresco seating here and it is sheltered by RWS. So there is no need to worry about it being too sunny or raining. What I will do is I will send in my order using the Starbucks app and walk over and I can collect my drinks immediately. Skip the Q and order ahead!
RWS arts sculpture
#meetsingapore
I had the entire afternoon available and so I went over to RWS after I had my lunch at Vivocity. As the Sentosa Express is still giving free entry until the end of year, I make use of this opportunity to explore Sentosa. I did not revisit the beaches on this visit. I save for beach exploration when I staycay at Village Sentosa Hotel. There are so many artworks at RWS, the first station after vivocity. It has all the attractions here such as the USS, SEA, Adventure watercove and etc. It also has many restaurants and eateries and even fast food too. So if you are in Sentosa and want to grab a bite then you can come over to RWS. These artworks around RWS are always neglected because of the USS iconic globe sculpture. After knowing about these artworks, I hope you will keep a lookout for them when you are at RWS.
Michelin Star Restaurant with cute Apple
Table65 is a one-star Michelin restaurant in Resorts World Sentosa located in Hotel Michael. The number 65 comes from the local country code, as the first overseas branch of Restaurant 212 in Amsterdam. They are known for the unique and instagram worthy dessert “Apple”, with the apple sorbet core encased in an edible transparent candy set on an apple puff pastry.
There are only a few menus available; a weekend lunch set menu, and dinner set menu and ala carte menu on both weekdays and weekends. The restaurant adopts an open kitchen concept where you can watch the staff at work preparing the food. Service was good from the staff who explained the food items to me, particularly the head chef who also chatted with me.
As expected, the “Apple” tastes as good as it looks. The apple sorbet core was refreshing and a nice palate cleanser. The puff pastry was flaky and the apple balls packed a fruity crunch. Much detail and effort has gone into making this dessert, as they even use chocolate for the seeds, and the sugar bubble was delicately made. Other food items are also worth trying, such as the sea bass with tiger milk and kaffir lime, which tasted fresh and has a balance of milky and sourness, and the amuse bouche which consists of three unique bites, and sourdough bread.
Reservation is required on the RWS website. As they are only open on certain days of the week for only a few hours, do note the opening hours before booking and coming down.

Big Bathtub @CrockfordHotel RWS Singapore
The most enjoyable stay at Crockford Hotel at Sentosa is the room super spacious with a big bathroom and a big size of a bathtub.
The bathroom is well designed, nice flow, and spacious. Of course other amenities in the room also good, such as comfort bed with big tv, the sofa lounge, a balcony to get the fresh air with view of the Keppel Bay area.
This hotel has an artistic lobby entrance with the beautiful chandelier and is connected to the Resort World dining area and Fashion Avenue shopping mall. It's also a short walking distance to Universal Studios.

Awesome resort fun
Address - Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
Resorts World Sentosa is a completely integrated resort with attractions, dining establishments and entertainment venues all in one place! The iconic ones like Universal Studios Singapore and SEA Aquarium are really popular so aim to visit on weekdays to avoid the crowds.
It is super convenient to bring your children here as well because it is fairly kid-friendly, with marked out boxes to park your prams. Also, I love that the hotels are right where the fun is so I don’t have travel too far.
However, it can be quite expensive here so make sure your budget is well-planned out first!

Nature by the beach
Address - Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
What’s so fantastic about beaches is that it brings us closer to nature with the sun, sand and sea! Of course greenery and flowers also add to that experience and makes it more colourful.
Recently at Resorts World Sentosa, there are more flower clusters around, including in the decor of the huge centrepiece. Strolling along this area really makes one feel relaxed and immersed in the natural elements!

If you’re visiting the many beaches at Resorts World Sentosa and are feeling peckish, I highly recommend Streats Restaurant as their food is really delicious and really quite affordable!
We ordered a meatball pasta and fried wanton noodles, which were fragrant and flavourful. Portions were also quite big so it was very worth the price! Dine in and takeaway are both available.

Garden attractions
Address - Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
Before arriving at the many attractions in Resorts World Sentosa, you will first come to a central atrium with loads of gardens and greenery! It is almost a park attraction in and of itself.
There are also very colourful flowers blooming in the surrounding bushes as well. If you’re waiting for friends to arrive for the attractions, you can definitely find a nice shady spot beneath the tall trees here!

Beachside sculptures
Address - Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
When you disembark from the monorail station, there are gigantic sculptures all around the atrium to check out! With the backdrop against the open-air rooftop canopy, the sunlight reflecting off of these sculptures are pretty cool.
Two of the art works are pyramids but conceptualized in different forms, while another is a metal sculpture representing all the elements of entertainment that Resorts World Sentosa brings to you!

Fun day at Adventure Cove 🤿
Did you know you could snorkel for free in Adventure Cove? The snorkelling experience comes free with every Adventure Cove admission ticket.
However for your own safety, participants must be able to swim! The water mimics the ocean so it’s quite deep even for an adult.
(Life jacket has to be worn at all times.)
There is even a current to push everyone in a clockwise direction. Making sure we don’t hurt the fishes.
I think the best part and my favourite part is I do not need to have a diving license or travel out of Singapore just to experience snorkelling.
There are about 20,000 different fishes swimming in the salt water so remember to rinse yourself thoroughly for the safety of the cute fishes!
Do not miss this attraction when you are there!
