A Singapore Summer
#singaporetrip #foodie #tripblazers #summervacation #singapore
Spent a week in Singapore to attend a festival and only had one extra day to explore. Starting at gardens by the bay and walking around to the Merlion was a long but rewarding walk (don't recommend without a fan in Summer). Stopped at the Pancakes and Waffles cafe which serves halal waffles piled high with ice cream and it was cooling on a hot day. Then spent the afternoon at the National Museum to learn the history of Singapore, very informative! Staying at Parkroyal on Beach Road is pretty central and highly recommend!

Club room staycation
Having done a staycation at PARKROYALHotel on Beach Road recently, I would highly recommend tourists and guests who want to be near the cultural Kampong Glam neighbourhood to stay here! It is literally walkable just across the road with many authentically middle eastern and Muslim eateries.
I got a club room this time, which gave me access to the exclusive club lounge too! Although there is no afternoon tea service here, there are some nuts and snacks served all day and proper evening cocktails with hot food from 5pm to 7pm. No reservations needed, just walk in!

PARKROYAL CLUB @ PARKROYAL on Beach Road
Wheh you book the Club Room at PARKROYAL on Beach Road, it comes with the club benefits and one of the benefits is access to the lounge.
It’s hard to find Halal lounge in Singapore and I’m glad that the food served here is from the Ginger restaurant which is Halal certified so our Muslim friends can eat it. However, do note that they served alcoholic in the evening. As the club does not allow kids, you can take away the food from the lounge and eat it at the comfort of your room.
If you’re early, get a seat near the window and you can enjoy the sunset!
If you’re a light eater, this could even be your dinner! I can’t wait for my next stay in the Club rooms!

Lifestyle hotel with halal restaurant
As one of the older PARKROYAL brand of hotels in Singapore, I was glad to hear that they have undergone a massive renovation to upgrade their rooms and spaces. When I visited, it was modern and very aesthetically pleasing, making it a super comfortable stay. Their main restaurant is also a halal certified restaurant.
My room was one that came with club lounge access and was located on one of the higher floors. As a result, the view was pretty amazing. This hotel is located close to local heritage attractions and indie shopping streets, making it a convenient base to plan your itinerary around.

Snazzy sports bar in hotel
The house cocktail bar located within this PARKROYAL Hotel is called Club 5, and they often screen sports matches on its premises. When we visited, it was the World Cup season where they decorated the place with the flags of multiple countries!
It is a really cosy place to spend the evening with the mood lighting and plush sofa seats. They also have a wide range of drinks and some bar snacks on the menu. It can get quite lively but that’s a great atmosphere to watch live soccer matches in!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely Oasis in the City
Stepping into the hotel, the hotel exudes calm, resort vibes that instances makes you feel relaxed and on a holiday. Complimentary lime juice in a container is a nice touch, as is the motifs of the hotel. Can sense some Peranakan theme being applied.
The pool is also nice and big with fountains. Also exudes a resort vibe. Do take note though that the pool goes as deep as 2.45m so need to be careful!

Premier Club Room 758
Positives:
- Big room with balcony (42 square metres)
- Huge 65 inch tv
- Very comfortable bed (5 pillows provided)
- Sofa is nice, long and love the use of felt (comfy)
- love the room decor (colour tone, use of wood etc…)
- usb bedside charging ports ( in fact, usb slots that come with the power sockets aplenty)
- Nespresso machine with 3 pods
- Lovely stand-alone bathtub (huge and fills up quickly)
- Good size toilet that has cistern that comes with washer
- Staff very service oriented and accommodative (saw it was my wife’s birthday and wished her, plus extended early check in and late check out (11am and 3pm respectively), plus provided a small slice of birthday cake)
Negatives
- tv does not come with Chromecast
- no media port to plug in hdmi cable
- constant smell of food (restaurant exhaust vents should be nearby) makes it difficult to stay and enjoy the balcony
- Sound proofing can be improved ( can hear the sound of traffic)
- sofa has some stains of it. likewise found some stains on the bedsheet and one of the towel (minor irritants only tbh)
- Due to shape of hotel (long shape), distance from room to lift is quite far

Always book Parkroyal club rooms as it'll come with free flow of food and drinks from 6pm-8pm at the lounge!
Wife brought here for a birthday getaway got free delicious cake! If other hotel, the cake given probably like left over and not fresh. Service by the lounge staff were all friendly, even though kids are not allowed in the lounge, we can still bring the food to our room! The gym, pool and the Ginger restaurant all tip top and satisfactory! We will visit here again for sure! Location very strategic with lots of eatery just across the road.

Booked a staycay at Parkroyal Beach Road during flash sales promo for only $199 nett for a club room deluxe room and it was a very comfortable stay. We were assigned a room on the 7th room and was pleasantly surprised that we got upgraded to the premier room with a balcony. The hotel had a resort style vibe to it and the pool was abit outdated however it was very large.
Club deluxe room @ Parkroyal on Beach Road
Got a great deal during Trip’s sale.
Room is newly renovated and well maintained. Bed is comfy.
This is the first time I trying Parkroyal’s lounge. The service is good. Receptionist will bring you to the club floor for checking in.
For the evening cocktail, they have free flow of wine, beer and cocktails upon request. You could even ask them to make the cocktail u liked(combination of different juices and hard liquor). For the hot plate, they have baked salmon, vegs, salads, pasta and spring rolls during my visit. The cakes and pastries are delicious too.
For the breakfast, I have my breakfast at the Ginger around 9.30am. They did provide a great variety of food but the place was crowded. It took a long time to order ur omelette. I will recommend you have your breakfast at a earlier time.
Overall a good stay and the service is better as compared to the last time I stayed few years ago.

Birthday staycay Suite surprise
Scored a free upgrade to Junior Suite as a little birthday surprise, and we really loved how spacious the room was. Our stay included free breakfast and lounge access, which offers evening cocktails and light bites.
We stayed in for most of our 1 night stay but the hotel is near to Haji Lane, Golden Mile Tower/Complex and shopping malls like Bugis Junction and Bugis+. Hence, plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance.
This was our 2nd time staying with the hotel and would definitely love to back again.
Address - Park Royal Beach Road
Ambiance/Facilities - Pool can be quite crowded
Highlights - Granted late checkout at 3pm so we had more time to enjoy the room

Staycay Vacay ✨
Had a staycay in the very conveniently located Parkroyal at Beach Road to celebrate a birthday. The pool had such a nice view of the flyer, many cafes and eateries conveniently located at the Lavender area, and close to East Coast Park! Ginger restaurant even prepared a delicious chocolate cake for the birthday celebration 🍫🍰
The room was really spacious and the facilities were more than satisfactory. Hotel even had a club/pub area so you can party it up with your friends at night! And wake up to a delicious birthday breakfast in the morning

High-five at Club 5!
Located at Parkroyal Beach Road (which is becoming one of my favourite properties around, the flagship hotel bar has rebranded with a timeless new look! Featuring a repertoire of locally-inspired drinks such as Nasi Lema'garita, which has deconstructed the components of our national dish into the cocktail.
The end product has strong coconut and pandan notes, with a slice of cucumber at the top. They also gave ikan-bilis and peanut to go with the drink! How cute!
I also tried Bhai Colada, which is a chai version of Pina Colada. Very creamy and certianly tasted chai notes too! They also gave us an indian keropok snack to do with it, very local!
Also, this bar accepts Kris+, meaning you can earn 9 miles for every 1 dollar spent, which makes here one of my favourite bars to frequent for a quick dinner pre-drink, or a second round after cocktails and canapes at the club lounge!

Value for Money Halal- Buffet for everybody
Halal themed buffets are few, let alone a good hotel quality one. An exception is Ginger at Parkroyal Beach Road, which now runs a thai-themed buffet for all! With Deepavali around the corner, there is also specials such as Lamb Shank, Baked Seabass and Sesame balls for all!
I went there over the long weekend and find most of the quality of food to be good enough. You will find international buffet food but sadly no 🦞 available! luckily, there is still chilli crab, salted egg yolk crab that are made to order and also Steamed River Prawn which is a good enough substitute to Lobsters. Always to use Kris+ to pay for this deal at 9 miles per dollar!

Birthday celebration staycation
able to catch a super deal 「park royal Beach Road club room 」thru trip to celebrate my birthday..
hotel room is abit old but well maintained, club longer staff was friendly. club room package is including evening cocktail, however the timing is only from 6-8pm. my birthday dinner was 6:30pm, hence I missed the evening cocktail.
breakfast is crowded and no replacement. overall is ok
Functional Staycay to burn off my D$
A rather functional stay to burn off my expiring D$ ✌🏻
Marred by a shaky start which led to great service recovery - thank you @parkroyalbeachroad for the generous access to the Club Lounge ❤️
I did wish the room got more love from the refurbishment - I mean, the public areas were a world of difference! 🥹
Decent and quite sufficient-ish F&B offerings at the Club Lounge during the evening, but breakfast at Ginger were surprisingly poor quality even though variety was nice. I suppose they aren’t known for amazing food? 🤷🏻♀️
Yays to knocking off the bill at check out with a favorable exchange rate 🐸
Deluxe Club room
Deluxe club room - room size good for 2 persons, but toilet is small without bath tub.
The club level comes with refreshments from 11am to 4pm, love the cookies and Cocktail is from 6pm to 8pm.
Breakfast spread is semi-international and with local foods.
Green Stay with Laundry Option
My first #greentrip at Park Royal Beach Road club room include laundry service but there's a note saying housekeeping will change bedsheet not that often to save water, detergent and the earth. Not taking any offend as this is an environmental friendly effort.
I support this kind of move. Besides, my bedsheets and everything is still clean also just when I enter the room. Only problem is the carpet which is quite dusty. However, I don't really bother as I have no dust allergy.
Cleanliness is still well maintain, so you don't need to worry about it. I had a great time here spent in the room!

Save Water in Nice Environment
Experience #greentrip while there is filtered water for you to drink from special tap in room. Singapore water is very safe to be consumed but if drink directly from tap sometimes there's iron taste on it.
This filtered water, however, is pure and fresh. No need to worry because its filtered. If you worry about hygiene, you can boil the water too. In effort of becoming green with less plastic bottle, this is a nice move. Here I can enjoy the tea without "additional taste";
Thank you Park Royal Beach Road for the effort to save the earth and be green!

Green Environment Stay
First time having this #greentrip at Park Royal Beach Road. I heard of the green concept but in my mind I thought there will be something like garden, but this place is incredibly over green.
When I entered, I feel like in amazon. With much interior display of green (literally) and green plants with huge leaves, make it more like artificial green environment.
However, I love the greens in swimming pool area. It feel like real garden with plants, well manage and not as messy as those in lobby. Kudos to the designer and those who maintain it.

OMG! Deepest hotel pool!
At this serene and breezy hotel, there ls a “special” swimming pool which just look like a normal pool! But the fact is that the pool is 2.9metres deep! Yes ! 2.9 metres! You did not see wrongly! This definitely will be the deepest hotel pool that i ever came across in Singapore! People who love deep pool, this hotel pool is definitely meant for you! It is even deep enough to do diving! Of course , this will be the place to do sunbathing too! Make sure you have your sunglasses and sunblock with you! 😎#staycation #mustdo #mustvisit #beachlife #本地遊 #summervacation
Time for Lounge!
Parkroyal Club Lounge serves evening canapes from 6pm to 8pm for guests who have access to the lounge! The spread is quite substantial as a light dinner if you are a small eater! Especially Love the seafood Bouillabaisse which is a traditional Provençal fish stew originating in the port city of Marseille! The chef is very kind to include Lots of mussels, fish and prawns! Eat it with the bread sticks and they taste fantastic!! They do serve red and white wines and non alcoholic drinks! Unfortunately they do not serve my favourite champagne or Prosecco! The lounge is quite quiet so you can enjoy yr drinks in a quiet environment! #staycation #mustdo #urbanexplorer #passionpassport #mustvisit #foodie #本地遊 #summervacation #awesomepic #givethanks
Private Check in @ Parkroyal Club
Surprise private check in when i entered Parkroyal on Beach Road! The attentive staff led me to level 6 where the check in was done! The lounge was just next to it! This hotel has a beautiful lobby! They are very attentive to the details where there are many seats around where one can relax while waiting for your friends or transport. They even provide a drinks corner in case you need to have a drink before you leave for the airport! Well Done for that! ##urbanexplorer MustVisit #mustdo #passionpassport #staycation #本地遊 #summervacation
Another Staycation in Paradise @PRBR
Amazing Staycation @ PRBR. My first visit after the renovation and I was Wowed by the transformation. I seemed to have entered another world. Check in was at Level 6. The staff were attentive. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast at Ginger was great. Good spread and quality food. I especially love the chicken porridge. Club Lounge was an amazing space to chill at any part of the day esp from 6 to 8pm.
Love the pool and gym too.
PRBC is just opp Kampong Glam thus there is lots of food easily available. oh yes...did i mention that June Bakery is just 5 min walk from the hotel? check out the Orh Nee Tarts too. Make sure u go early.
I'll be back again once there's another promo.

Parkroyal on Beach Road - SUPERRR
Had a really great time at Parkroyal on Beach Road. We've booked a 2 nights stay at Premier Club room - the only room category with balcony and they managed to assign a room with view of Singapore Flyer to us.
When we arrived at the lobby, the staff greeted us warmly and brought us to level 6 for check in. We arrived slightly early (check in time is 3pm) so we were sat in the club lounge for tea and some biscuits. We also visited the club lounge for evening cocktails (6-8pm) - their gin & tonic is really good! There are a few selections of food (like popcorn chicken, teriyaki chicken, spring roll etc.) pastries (cake, cookies and bread) and cheese as well.
Breakfast was at Ginger restaurant. Wide selection of food and beverages - taste really good too!
I'vd thoroughly enjoyed my stay and no regrets at all! :-)

Excellent location for your stay
Location: excellent, near Bugis yet at the outer ring so you won’t experience all the hectic crowd, yet it’s convenient to just walk there.
Opposite this hotel is the famous Haji Lane and Arab Street where you will find plenty of things to see and eat. Further down the street, opposite the Concourse, you can also find some good Vietnamese restaurants like Mrs Pho and Co Hai Banh Mi.
Check-in took a while as our room was not ready.
We were given the room on level 2 facing the main road. Yet we don’t feel it’s noisy at all.
Bed is comfortable. Our room is a Superior room so it came with 2 sitting chairs and a small side table unlike Club room with a long sofa.
Definitely recommend to stay here for those who wish to explore Singapore

ParkRoyal Beach Road balcony
Address: 7500 Beach Rd, Singapore 199591
I am loving my complimentary upgrade to club premier room at level 7, it has a lovely and spacious balcony facing a beautiful scenery. Once you enter the room, you will face the balcony directly. The air-conditioning will continue to work even if the balcony door is open. It does not have the auto sensor to shut down the air conditioner when the door is open. So you have to be mindful of the doors and keep them closed at all times. A bit pity the balcony did not have a ceiling fan but as it is has unblocked views, so the balcony is always windy. I have two rooms for by side and I can easily peep into the next room but it is still dangerous to do that because the wall separating the rooms are pretty high. I enjoy leaving the balcony door open and enjoy the wind.
