[Staycation] Birthday/ Anniversary Staycation at Big Sky Room – Llyod’s Inn Singapore On my birthday and our anniversary celebration, as usual we always spend our time either for staycation or travelling. We decided to stay at Lloyd’s Inn Singapore. We were amazed with their Big Sky Room photos (especially the outdoor bathtub) and of course their common area, the pool particularly. There are minimalistic feel, the raw finishes of the walls and floors run throughout the inn’s common area and into the rooms, with touch of nature. The Common Area They have dipping pool area surrounded by greenery, as well as garden deck for guess to chill. The pool located just below the reception area. They also have Outdoor Pantry and Roof Terrace, it a great place to mingle with other travellers. Creepers (Ficus pumila) are running almost around every of their raw finish wall. It looks like modern oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle of city area. The Big Sky Room The Big Sky Room offers a touch of luxury for the stylish traveller. An outdoor bathtub basks in the open air, giving you your very own piece of the sky. The sleeping area is with king-sized bed. This is the biggest room they had, thus it looks spacious and there is a bathtub. The upper floor is actually the working area, separated for privacy and fitted with a bench and a working table. About My Staycation Experience Everything were okay, the room we stayed is very spacious and clean. They even left a bag of cookies and birthday card inside our room, it’s simple but such a sweet gesture. Overall, I was quite happy to be able to stay at Lloyd’s Inn Singapore, another bucket list ticked off from my Singapore staycation list. As this is just an inn, you shouldn’t expect a five star services, but overall i think this place is quite decent and rate is reasonable. You may consider to stay at this place when you visit to Singapore Tucked in Somerset area, Lloyd’s Inn Singapore is a 34-room boutique hotel with 8 room types, a five-minute walk away from Singapore’s famous Orchard Road shopping belt. Address - 2 Lloyd Road Ambiance/Facilities - This place give me Bali vibes and it’s really different from the other hotels I stayed in Singapore! I love the swimming pool and my room! It is super cosy and has an outdoor bathtub, shower together with a fan! The bath robe is a kimono as shown in the first picture. Highly recommend you all to visit Lloyd’s Inn! Cannot wait to visit their outlet branches in Bali & KL. Avg. Price per Person - $150/pax Rating - 10/10

Budget Resort @ Llyod's Inn

Address - 2 Lloyd Rd, Singapore 239091 Ambiance/Facilities - Resort vibe, feel like in Bali Villa Highlights - We were quite hesitant at first because it looks like budget 3 star hotel, but after we tried it once we decided to come back again! This hotel offer a resort ambience that I feel like we were staying in Bali villa. There are also some eateries nearby, conveniently located in city area. Trust me, it is not budget hotel and worth the price spent here! But if you can, try to get their room with bathtub (which is quite limited room available). Avg. Lloyd's Inn sept staycation

My long awaited staycation at Lloyd has come. Looking forward is definitely. Loved their cosiness, atmosphere, minimalistic design, spacious room and bathroom and a view of the garden in front of my bedroom. Wow this hotel is really something else. Walking distance to public transport and eateries. Pantry which i hardly heard of in hotel or inn as mentioned, vending machine and ice dispenser i think and coffee machine which is very convenient due to room without any minibar. Didnt use any facilities which is the swimming pool which need to be booked. Great staycay option with Bali vibes

lovely and clean rooms! lots of privacy and the vibe does give out Bali vibes! Fully enjoyed our stay here. Great #staycay option in Singapore 🤩 Pool area is nice as well and wasn’t busy during the time we went.

Lloyd's Inn w the girlies

room: garden room 17m² price: $282/night (incl. extra bed) rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !!! this was such a hectic booking bc i was such a bad planner on my birthday !!! so i had made plans with two groups of friends and i thought i would make it just in time to check-in with them after dinner. but time stops for no one especially when you're with your girlfriends!!! so i was late to check-in with them and they waited an hour for me in the lobby 😭 and i had wanted to cover the room since it was my idea to celebrate two of our birthdays together but my friend paid for it first and they didn't want to see the room without me uuu idk what i did to have such accomodating friends. since there were three of us the hotel had to add an extra futon bed which was included in the final charges but was not indicated in the bill. so i thought they had to charge an extra $60 and i tried using the birthday excuse to get it waived hahaha but of course we already paid the fees amd they gave us chocolate bars as gifts WHICH WE FORGOT TO TAKE BACK. overall, the room and whole aesthetic of the place was actually an experience. i wouldn't mind going back for a couple's staycation although the layout of the room and bathroom were very open and you could hear someone else using the shower from another room. however, the pool seems to be wayyy smaller than seen in pictures which was a little deceiving but breakfast was offered at a cafe just down the street and i opted for a match latte with no extra cost! really felt like a vacation house away from home.
