#InterContinental Hotel Osaka, an IHG Hotel Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
fantastic Intercontinental Osaka
Spent 4 nights at Intercontinental Osaka at their premium king room with city view. Room is very spacious. Love every part of the room. Only issue we had was the pillows were way too soft. Though this was solved by memory foam pillows. Reception speaks good english so no issues with communication. This is within sheltered walking distance to Osaka station so very very convenient. Would absolutley stay here again if i visit Osaka again

The hotel is located above the 20th floor of the building. I had booked a deluxe room, but upgraded to a corner room. This allowed me to admire the view on both sides. Sitting on the couch in the corner would make a nice pose for the camera. Or, you can take a bath at night and enjoy the skyline. I intentionally booked an eastward-facing room so that I could watch the sunrise. When sitting by the café window, don't forget to look outside.

Stayed in the most comfortable hotel in Osaka! The view is absolutely amazing!
I've been to Osaka many times
It's the second largest city in Japan
This time I came with a girl mainly to visit Universal Studios
So I chose the InterContinental Osaka in Umeda
The location is especially convenient
The facilities and the experience are beyond reproach
It's the first time I've felt like I'm on vacation in a Japanese metropolis!
🛏️ Room
This is the biggest room we've stayed in during our trip to Japan
The full-frame large glass window in the living room
Overlooks the entire Osaka Castle
Watching the buildings and the crowd, it's a peaceful retreat in the midst of the hustle and bustle
Having a cup of Japan's special capsule coffee
While tasting the unique welcome snacks
The atmosphere is really incredible
🍃 As a business hotel, the public facilities are not too complicated
But I really like their swimming pool
First of all, the water temperature is clearly higher than the average constant temperature pool
Even in winter, you can let the kids swim with confidence
The water quality is visibly good, especially clean!
There's also a warm water pool next to it
Even if you don't swim, you can go and relax
Besides the pool, there's also a Japanese-style bathhouse
Taking a bath after shopping is so comfortable!
🧇 Breakfast is authentic Western and Japanese style, very rich
For dinner, we tried the hotel's French semi-buffet
The main course is quite exquisite and creative, and the taste is good
The key is that even the self-service appetizers and desserts are excellent
I recommend it to friends who like French cuisine to try
🚇 The hotel's transportation is quite convenient
Just a few minutes walk to the JR station and subway station
It only takes 20 minutes to get to Universal Studios by JR
There are also many shopping malls nearby, including Grand Front Osaka, Lucua, Hankyu Department Store, Daimaru Department Store, Hanshin Department Store, etc.
Shopping is very convenient, staying for two days was really comfortable! Recommended!
🏨 Hotel: InterContinental Osaka

I've planted grass at the InterContinental Osaka, got upgraded to a suite and even received a 4pm checkout!
🏨 I'd like to share my stay at the InterContinental Osaka, which I really loved!
The hotel is located at Umeda Station, which is the same as Osaka Station and Shin-Osaka Station, so the location is super convenient.
Part1: Sharing the suite
P2 Bathroom: They use Byredo amenities, and the bathroom space is very spacious. In Japan, this bathroom is definitely at the forefront.
P3 Living room: Because I was upgraded to a suite, this suite has partitions, not a fake suite, where you can work and meet guests. I particularly like this desk, although it's in Japan, it's very advanced.
P4 mini bar: Very rich, but unfortunately, it's all charged, just take a quick look.
P5 Bedroom: The bedroom has a small window, the space is also very large, and it's connected to the bathroom, so it looks very open and sleeps very comfortably.
P6 Walk-in closet: Can you believe there's a walk-in closet in a Japanese hotel? You can spread out your luggage in the living room walk-in closet.
P7 Birthday treat: It was my birthday on the day of my stay, I mentioned it to the hotel in advance, and they gave me chocolates and a greeting card, in Japan I can only say it's the highest level of treatment.
🏙 Another thing worth experiencing is their large public bath, so staying here you can experience everything you want in Japan!
Part2: Executive Lounge.
📷 This requires the rights obtained after staying 40 nights at InterContinental or booking an executive room to enter, or booking an executive room, which is generally unattainable for most people, so just take a quick look. There's à la carte breakfast, full afternoon tea, evening happy hour, and all-day soft drinks, so I'm not worried at all about not having drinks in the room. The view here is even better, just take it easy, drink slowly, very suitable for daydreaming.

Spacious and clean room. Great service and friendly staff, especially thanks to Liam Wynn for great hospitality when we check out. A bit of walking distance to Osaka station but it is still quite convenient as you can walk through the mall directly to the station. Would love to stay in this hotel again next time. The only thing I wish which can be improved is the breakfast food quality.overall it ok for me
