Been wanting to stay at this hotel since forever so I was stoked when Trip.com was offering a $100 deal for Hotel G! 🤎 Hotel G is known for their wine bar/restaurant, Ginnett. They also have a burger joint called 25 Degrees and both eateries offer many happy hour and weekday promos, e.g. 1 for 1 fries, $7 wines, % discounts during tea time. You’ll also be spoilt for choice for food options when you’re living in the Bugis area. Fortune Centre just across the road has many Japanese and vegetarian eateries at affordable prices, and when you walk further down there’s Bugis+/Bugis Junction, where I had this delightful kaisen bowl from aburi kaisen-don keisuke. You can also visit bras basah complex where I tried this cafe, Gamo, which offers fresh bakes and great coffee ☕️ The hotel is eco-friendly and offers water in small paper cartons as opposed to plastic bottles! I love their soap and shampoo which is high quality and smells amazing. Hotel G - Good Queen Room

There are different setups across the hotel rooms. I was initially given a room that has the television to the left of the bed (you may refer to the last second photo) and I requested for a room that has the television across my bed instead as I was on a staycation, spent most of my time in the room. Hotel G kindly changed it for me. The good queen room is relatively small, but for the price that I booked at and convenient location, all is well.

Name of place: Ginett Restaurant & Wine Bar Location:200 Middle Rd, Singapore 188980 opening hours: 12 pm to 12 am (Closed on Mondays) Ginett Restaurant is very famous for its oyster and wine nights. This Ginett Restaurant is the main restaurant in Hotel G, it is located on the ground floor of the hotel. The brunch menu in Ginett is also a very popular one, you can select from the extensive mains offered such as roasted chicken, salmon, and cheese board. You can also top up an additional $15+ to enjoy 2 hours of free flow Mimosa. Lastly to end the brunch having the signature Ginett sundae is a must. #meetsingapore

Name of Hotel: Hotel G Singapore Location: 200 Middle Rd, Singapore 188980 The Entrance of the Hotel G is hidden within the restaurant Ginett. One will have to enter Ginett and take a small flight of stairs to the lift and reach the lobby which is on the 2nd floor. I must say that despite having 3 lifts, it was a long wait to take one up to the 2nd floor. The lobby itself is very small with 2 check in desks, at the time I was there only 1 was operating, it was pretty early in the morning so I understand. I noticed a little G shop corner selling all the little souvenirs from the hotel, from mugs to little chocolates. #meetsingapore

Price per Person;$36 Rating ;4.5/5 Visited ginette resturant located in hotel G for their popular sunday bottomless brunch – you can add on their $15++ free flow 2 hours mimosa when you order a main which is honestly such a steal. For our mains we ordered the half chicken that comes with a side of wedges and salad, the burrata & parma sandwhich that came with a basket of fries, and the classic breakfast that came with a spread of bacon, mushrooms, roasted potatoes and scrambled eggs. Overall i would give the food a rating of 4.5/5 – their flavours were pretty decent, for their price and portion i think its actually one of the more affordable brunch places. We were obviously there for the freeflow mimosa so its a definete go if you’re trying to get drunk! haha.

#muststay - A simple hotel with a secret; ITS GREATER KING ROOMS! With only four available, I was really lucky to be upgraded after a service mishap but the entire team and service Manger daryl was so understanding and generous. The burgers were so yummy and the stay came with a $50 voucher at ginett, so so so yummy! highly recommend the number 2 burger that comes with blue cheese and I paid extra $4 to upgrade to yummy truffle fries. The room was big and comfy and would be great if the toilet came with a bidet, in all honesty. Nevertheless, being a hotel that’s linked to 1 burger bar and 1 bar restaurant it was so so good. highly recommend! #staycation

After a long day of shopping , enjoy the rainwater shower from head to toe. The television channels includes a tour of Singapore, hbo movie channels, and other local channels. There is no fridge in the room. Do not purchase any cold milk or fruit juices while staying in the room. The hotel is located beside Singapore pools headquarter. A 10 minutes walk brings you to Bugis plus . A further 5 minutes walk via Bugis junction BHG mall would bring you to the Bugis MRT Station. Price per Person - $40 Rating - It was a full house during weekday 730pm evening so luckily we made reservation on Chope to dine for our table of 3($20 nonrefundable deposit paid). Ambience and setting of the restaurant was chillax and rather huge(2 levels of dining) just atad warm for people seated near entrance at level 1. Fortunately my table was on level 2 so temperature was just right to relax and enjoy the dinner. We ordered 4 mains to share: Steak frites w fries, Kurubuto Pork ChoP w baked potato, bacon carbonara and wild veg risotto. Was really impressed with the fine execution of all the dishes and taste were all on point. Kudos to the kitchen staff and chefs for this impressive foodfare as we were seated near kitchen and watched 1st hand how hectic and busy they were during the entire dinner service. Yet they did not compromise on delivering only the most on point dishes, saw the head chef re-making a few plates she deemed nt desirable to be served out. Salute to her and her team! We believed what we paid for was well deserved($120 for 4 mains) and lower than than of most 5 star restaurant that might nt hv tasted on par. Not to mention if u hv a special someone or loved one celebrating bday do indicate on reservation note and a dessert presented inside a beautifully designed bird cage will be brought to the table. And they even give out a bottle of wine for the bday person what a delightful gesture! We just had to minus 1 star off for the slight warm place, difficulty in engaging service crew, as well as noisy surroundings to dine in throughout due to full house. The dining experience otherwise was great and highly recommend everyone to go and dine in and let ur hair down with fabulous foodfare and inexpensive wines available.##

It is located between Bugis, Rochor and Dhoby Gaut. hence, if you are planning a day trip to town but don’t wana head home, visit this. Or for youths that fancy cafes, there’s a wide range of cafes nearby such as smile dessert cafe, Mar about Cake, etc. Looking for late suppers? there is a prata shop that open till late night just below the hotel. Apart from providing free wifi, it has free mineral water. Price per night is $100-150, depending on time/visit date. Boutique Hotel with Hip and Cosy Rooms ✨

This isn’t my first time here and it sure wouldn’t be my last! Hotel G Singapore is an affordable and comfortable option for your staycations, centrally located within walking distance from Rochor or Bencoolen MRT, with plenty of food and malls in the area. You don’t even need to leave the building though as you can get amazing burgers from their in-house 25 Degrees, as well as bistro French cuisine from Ginett Restaurant & Bar. The rooms here are small and cosy, but everything is thoughtfully and compactly arranged such that it doesn’t feel too cramped. The narrow and long entrance gives the room a certain depth, and the luggage storage area and in-room safe are smartly given space under the bed. Each room is decorated with their signature aesthetic dreamcatcher and random cool photo art, as well as equipped with cool mugs to go with the Nescafe coffee packets or Earl Grey sachets. The bathroom was rather simple and spacious, with a strong pressure from the rainshower. To make efficient use of space, the sink area is located outside from the shower and toilet bowl. Toiletries are provided by Australian brand METIS, which had a pleasant lavender smell. I got their accessible room, hence the extra handrails you see in the picture. Good to know that they do have accessible rooms available for guests! The common spaces are dim-lit and decor give off rather hipster vibes. You can really feel the youth energy! As a small building it does not have a pool, but the gym is an attraction by itself. The low lighting backed by the vintage wallpaper made for an interesting workout session. It is decently equipped with treadmills, exercise bikes, free weights and an all-in-one machine, but the unique one that stood out was the punching bag! I usually prefer lighter themes, it was my first time experiencing something different and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole vintage vibe. The rooms were great, comfortable and clean. I thought that the boxed water was interesting. Additionally, the location was great and convenient for food and shopping. They have in house restaurants just downstairs! I wish they had a pool or roof garden though it would have been great, the gym was small but enough for me. Solo Staycay @ Hotel G

Booked this via Trip.com Last Minute promotion! To get to the hotel, you can take MRT to Bendemeer and walk. Once you reach, you need to climb the stairs of the restaurant (Twenty Five Degrees) at L1, then take the stairs or lift to L3. Lobby is small, but dark, sleek and cozy. Staff are patient and excellent in their service. The hotel rooms are small but cozy. We chose the king-sized bed, and as you see in pictures, it's sort of a 1-room apartment, with a mini side table, bed, toilet and wash basin on the outside. Wash basin is slightly awkward and small, but manageable. Shower cubicle and toilet bowl is just separated by a thick curtain, but there is a glass door with no lock to close the toilet. They have a safe, kettle, tea/coffee packets, mugs, glasses, hairdryer, shower equipment like towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioner. Just like how a hotel would. Minus the fridge. There's a gymnasium in the hotel, but that's probably all there is to facilities. Gym requires booking of timeslots due to COVID-19 restrictions. They have free wifi and allow for late check-out (2pm). Check-in starts at 3pm. They also have breakfast as an add-on, plus other promotions like $1 chicken wings on Monday and alcohol. Overall a really cozy place to stay in, and given the price and promotion, I find it really worth the stay! Might consider again if there are similar promotions! #staycation

25 Degrees Burger are so delicious

It was a great idea and their burgers were really yummy. I ate at their restaurant and my burgers were served hot. I also ordered their milkshake and forgot about counting calories because it was worth it. Their burgers were really delicious and I even takeaway and bring back to my room. Did you also know? You can play a trivia quiz at Hotel G to win free wine, redeemable at Ginett restaurant. It was a great source for my wine intake. I also managed to try out their Greater room which was really spacious. Hope to return to Hotel G in 2022.

Just book your Ginett reservation before you book your staycay. I will tell you why. Ginett’s booking is not easy especially if you are going for their Monday Meat night or Thursday Oyster night. Try to book for Thursday dinner because big n delicious oysters are only selling for $1 per piece and you can order as many as you wish. Plus, with their affordable wine list, you can just drink to your heart’s content. Just be sure to try out their menu. If there is a seasonal menu, order it! I had their Halloween special menu and I love their pumpkin squash so much that I even take it back to my room. Ginett’s is very kind to accommodate my request to have the whole pumpkin intact. Since, this dish is not meant for takeaway. Luckily my room was just upstairs. A good tip for you, try to book earlier and request for birdcage seating. If you are celebrating any special occasion, just let them know. I see that they are serving cakes served inside a smaller birdcage to the lovebirds.

We got to dine at two restaurants during our stay here at Hotel G with our staycation package inclusions. Armed with our $50 dining voucher, the first restaurant we headed to was Ginett restaurant for dinner. The food was pretty good and portions were filling. I had the vongole tagliatelle while my husband had the scottish salmon. We came down to the second restaurant, 25 Degrees Burger Bar, for breakfast the next morning. They had a few different mains to pick from – we ordered the American breakfast and eggs special. Every guest is limited to only one set that comes with a serving of croissants, fruits and coffee or tea, anything more would require a top-up fee. Unfortunately, the food was really forgettable. Hotel G Singapore Staycation

Having seen photos and reviews of this hotel, I thought my expectations of the room size were already quite well-managed. Alas, upon entering our Great Room on the 9th floor (out of 16 floors), I was still a little taken aback, especially by the tiny bathroom (but it did come with a rainshower). Counter space was scarce, there was no wardrobe for clothes (only 4 hangers on a wall-hung metal rack) and no fridge. On top of that, cleanliness was a slight concern. There was a sizeable black-brown sediment on the shower ledge and multiple black spots along the tile grout lines. I also chanced upon a blue-dyed strand of hair on the towel while I was using it, as well as random hairs on the sheets. Soundproofing was an issue too. If guests along the corridor raised their talking volume slightly, we could easily hear them through the walls. Food is sooo good! no fishy or gamey smell or taste, and the salad is refreshing while the tart is heavenly 😋

Not a lot of gym equipments but still ok cos there’s only 3 of us Highlights - Got the 3D2N staycation deal at Trip.com at super value price (includes 2 days breakfast). Breakfast was simple with choice of 1 main, with 1 croissant & some fruits & coffee or tea. Accessible central location and can walk to Bugis, Dhoby Ghaut & more places. Avg. Price per Person - around $40 per pax per day only👍 Rating - 3.5 out of 5 Room: Good Room (11 to 13 sq m). Excellent! Delicious! Worth a visit. Yes, my next fav dinner place in town is Ginett. G is for Ginett! They have excellent dishes and very affordable (easy on wallet) wines. From their menu, every dishes are fabulous. My must order will be French Onion Soup and Duck Confit. In the month of October and November, Ginett has a special autumn menu and their pumpkin squash soup is worth ordering. I even did a takeaway because it is really worth the calories. Ginett also has a different theme dinner everyday and Thursday is their $1 oyster night. Their oysters are fresh and juicy and at $1? Pls order more. Ginett never fails to surprise me. Good and comfortable base to base yourself on a staycation in Singapore with plenty of good food, shopping and transportation all around the Bugis vicinity. Rooms are comfortable (albeit small) with all the facilities and amenities you need except for a mini fridge. Not too many facilities (e.g no pool) but no complaints for the price paid with free breakfast The staff here are extremely professional and rooms are well kept Very nice comfortable room. Trims and decor is very tastefully done. Superb location at a good budget and pleasant service. Price per Person - $60 Rating - 3 stars A boutique hotel near Bugis area which opened in 2017. A water dispenser and ice machine can be found near the lifts on each floor for guest use. The room was small with bed taken up most of the room space. despite that, it is overall clean and cozy for a short stay. Breakfast was served to the room due to dining restriction during the stay and it taste pretty good to be honest. The location is at Middle road which many hipster cafe and restaurants are located. You also need not travel far to get to shopping mall. It is 5 mins' walk from Bugis Village, Bugis Junction and Sim Lim IT Mall. #bestislandtraveltowns
