Walking trail at Gardens by the Bay
#citywalk
The Gardens by the Bay are located next to the Marina Reservoir and offer breathtaking water views.
I love to explore the outdoor themed gardens because there are so much to see and experience.
Generally considered an easy route, you'll encounter other people while exploring and enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
Do the walk early in the morning or late evening and enjoy the simple stroll and clean path.
Our Secret Garden
#citywalk
If you are wondering why they are so cute and kids like imagination then you are right!
Some of these lanterns are designed by students from Art:Dis. Which is a school for autistic kids and this time they get to express their creative through the lanterns.
I love how they were so many garden creatures for kids to learn about them too. It was fun to see kids guessing what they were. Spot animals such as a caterpillar, snail, chameleon and an elephant.
There is also a lantern lane where hundreds of lanterns are displayed and all of them are from people from different walks of life.
Bunnies In The Garden
#citywalk
If you are wondering why are there so many cute bunnies on display. This year is the year of the rabbit in the Chinese zodiac calendar. Though usually rabbits are also featured during mid autumn because it is said that they are Chang Er’s companion.
(Chang Er is the goddess of the moon and famous for drinking an elixir to prevent an enemy from stealing it.)
We think the bunnies lanterns is really cute! Sometimes the lanterns aren’t cute you know. GBTB even made some of the bunnies movable (no touching please).
Some of them are seen playing with lanterns, eating mooncakes or simply walking around the gardens under the moonlight.
Mid-Autumn Festival @ Gardens By The Bay🌕
Celebrate an enchanting Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens by the Bay with breathtaking lantern displays.🌕
These colorful lanterns are inspired by Chinese mythology and symbolize reunion, fate, and affinity. Enjoy cultural performances, engage in various activities, and indulge in delicious street food at the marketplace. 🏮
Don't miss this magical event happening from Sep 15 to Oct 1!

Mooncake Festivals Lights At GBTB
#singapore #gardensbythebay #festival #mooncake #nightlights #marinabay #mustvisit
#midautumn
The Mid-Autumnbfestival is just right round the corner and gardens by the bay is in collaboration with the festivals where you will be able to catch gorgeous glimpse of the lantern lights, bunnies, mooncake decorations, understanding the Chinese culture and how the mooncake festival came along, performances all happening here.
Best of it all, this has free entry but the parking spaces are quite limited around Gardens by the bay so do make sure you come here early or take the public transport so that you can experience the full walk of the night lights in the entire gardens.

Kingfisher Lake At Gardens By The Bay
#singapore #gardensbythebay #gbtb #marinabay #plantlover #flowerlover
Heading to gardens by the bay, don't forget to drop by the kingfisher lake located at 12 Marina Gardens Drive where you will be able to spot loads of different coloured dragonflies and possibly some kingfisher too! This is popular among bird watchers especially on the weekends .
This part of gardens by the bay is rather quiet as it's located away from the flower dome, but you will be able to enjoy the quietness and the surrounding filled with plants like the lotuses and the many aquatic water insects.

Supertree Grove
Gardens by the Bay never gets old for me - it covers 101 hectares and contains several attractions, including the largest greenhouse in the world. I love walking through this futuristic garden at night when it is cooler and all the supertrees are lit up, but it is certainly worth visiting during the daytime too, especially for the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. During holidays and festivals (e.g. Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, Christmas), the gardens have special exhibitions and celebration decorations.

Merry Christmas at GBTB
#mysgmemories
Can lah! Let’s go Christmas party la! Other than the famous Orchard Road for Christmas lights, Gardens by the Bay is also another great place to be. You have to visit here at least once and stay for day and nighttime to have a different experience. This area is huge so be prepared for walking and sunscreen to block out the UV rays. Both paid admission to flower dome and cloud forest will be oozing with festivity vibes and you can have an enjoyable time without breaking a sweat. There is also shuttle train services to cut down on walking. You can buy tickets using the mobile app too.
Riding with Santa
#mysgmemories
Can lah! Let’s go Christmas party la! This location is at main area of the Flower Dome whereby you can take amazing photos of the entire background. Come over here to Santa’s house and spot his reindeer sleigh. Are you able to count how many reindeers are there altogether? If you move towards the front, you can spot a Santa sleigh for you to take photos with. In Santa’s house, his mode of transport is by using these reindeers to pull his sleigh so that he can deliver his Christmas presents too all the children. Be sure to hang up your socks and wait for Santa.
[Explore Singapore] Gardens of Your Dreams
If there’s one place I would recommend a tourist to visit in Singapore, it’s Gardens by the Bay, because it possesses everything we dream of.
Singapore is well known as a city in a garden, and it’s not just any garden, but a garden of the future. Singapore may not have the land mass (and time) to grow as many trees as we want in a garden, but good thing we have the talent to make things work, creating these futuristic Super Trees that are just as, if not more, productive than the trees themselves, and twice as impressive.
Tapping on solar power, these Super Trees mimic the way trees photosynthesise to generate energy, but this time, they feed the energy not just to the plants wrapped around them, but also the nearby conservatories. In addition, water is just as precious in Singapore and the Super Trees can also collect rainwater to use in the entire garden.
Before Jewel @ Changi was built, Cloud Forest was the one with the stunning indoor waterfall that captured everyone’s attention. As one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls, it was a magnificent sight to behold. Surrounded by beautiful greenery in cooling temperatures, it’s as though you’ve been transported to a different highland elsewhere in the world.
But it is Singapore, and even as we naturally don’t have much, once we set our mind on it, we go all out to impress.
Come visit Gardens by the Bay for a fascinating journey of discovery to find out what a tiny country like Singapore can do with limited resources.

Flower Dome
#mysgmemories
At Gardens by the Bay, flower dome you will get to see different types of flowers and exotic plants all year round. There are also decorations around the dome depending on the seasons and the theme.
Don't have to travel to overseas and be able to view sakura here. Inside the dome is quite cooling as the air conditioned helps to take care of the plants and flowers.
Is good place to spend a lazy hot afternoon there. Good to go during weekdays to avoid crowds.

Love So Fine ~ ❤️
#mysgmemories
Gardens By The Bay Rose Romance 2023 has got me feeling like I am filming a Korean drama.
As most of us have know, it is hard to have beautiful flowers outdoors in nature in Singapore. Now that the tourists are coming in again and shipments are no longer affected, it was super pretty to see the flower dome nicely dolled up with roses from all over the world. Coupled with the huts and set up, I thought I was overseas 😍.
Gardens By The Bay has seasonal flowers all year round so be sure to check online before your head down!
Scenic Beautiful Gardens at Home in Singapore
#mysgmemories
📍18 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018953
We often travel overseas for nature, greenery tours, but right at home, we do have our beautiful scenic Gardens by the Bay which is also a tourist attraction visited by many.
It's free to visit for most parts of the outdoor gardens such as Serene Garden, Heritage Garden, Supertree Grove and more. Even though the weather outside was hot, most parts of the gardens were shaded and considerably cooler than the nearby Marina South and Central areas. You can also view lots of iconic buildings & structures from the gardens such as the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer. The Gardens by the Bay is also home to 2 cooled conservatories - Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. You can easily spend half a day just exploring and admiring the gardens.
Carbon and Climate Guided Tour at Gardens by the Bay
#mysgmemories
Do you know that there are some free guided Nature and Sustainability tours supported by Keppel Corporation at the Gardens by the Bay?
I had recently joined the Carbon and Climate tour, which also includes a free visit to the Flower Dome for local Singapore residents, and learnt a lot more on the different carbon which affects the climate, as well as how Singapore/Gardens by the Bay is doing to lessen/reduce the impact of climate changes and also how we all can help as well in this. It's a great initiative and really a good informative walking tour, which one should join as well.
Becky Bunny at GBTB
#mysgmemories
As frequent visitor of GBTB we were surprised when we saw Becky’s bunny around the garden!
After checking, we realised she is the mascot for families ofr life. The mascot and programme aims to teach kids the family values of love, care and concern, commitment and respect and how to communicate.
Becky bunny actually appeared in different parts of Singapore and has plenty of adventure.
However we realised some of the bunny was damage which was sad, though seeing this cutes standees at GBTB made it feels magical.
The bunnies can be found nearer to Bayfront station and about 10 minutes walk from flower dome.
Supertrees in Gardens by the Bay
#singaporetrip
Do you know there are a total of 18 supertrees in Gardens by the Bay, of which 12 of them are located at the Supertrees Grove? They helped in harvesting solar energy for the garden. You can also go up to the Supertrees Observatory where you can have a bird's eye view of Gardens by the Bay and Singapore's skyline. The Supertrees Grove also comes alive daily in the evening with a splendid live light and sound performance at 7.45pm and 8.45pm.
Gardens By The Bay
#mysgmemories
Gardens By The Bay is truly an amazing place where you can see different exbitions all year round. You can enjoy the exhibition within the air conditioned flower domes. During this trip, my wife's family came over from China and I brought them to visit here. They were captivated the beauty of the place and really enjoyed the experience. I am proud Singapore has such a wonderful attraction.
GBTB National Day Concert 2023
#mysgmemories
The Gardens By The Bay National Day Concert is back in full after four years and still remained free for all!
Held at The Meadows, the outdoor space of GBTB. The concert featured many local talents and singers from different cultures of Singapore. We had worked in the day so we arrived late with our picnic mat. Fortunately we still managed to get a spot near the stage!
To my delight, there was even fireworks for the first time!!
The singer of HOME, Kit Chan was the grand act and for myself I was really excited to hear Mavis Hee singing the classic Moon River and 城里的月光 (Moonlight in the City), theme song for the 1996 Chinese drama 豆腐街 (Tofu Street).
More then just gardens to us!
#mysgmemories
Visits to Gardens by the Bay made easier with the new TEL line bringing us to it with a more convenient entrance. With a monthly seasonal change of flowers' theme on display, there is a constant refreshing experience with each renewed visit, and a much welcomed cooling environment compared to the humid and heat outdoors. Personal favourite activity is to spot the tiny poison dart frogs in the Floral Fantasy section. Its hard to spot more than three of them each time for me, but is always fun to try. It is even harder to take a nice clear photo of them but here's one!
