Birthday Meal At Siri House 🎂

If there is a special occasion to celebrate or you would like to impress your date to a nice meal at a gorgeous posh restaurant, then I would highly recommend Siri House restaurant. This restaurant is located at 8D dempsey road at Dempset Hill. It was initially kind of difficult to find this well hidden restaurant but once you see the big colourful siri house signboard, walked down the stairs and you will soon see the restaurant. Siri house has a fine restaurant interior with pretty crystal chandeliers hanging above you, you can't help but feel like a princess dining there. Service was excellent and attentive, food wise was refined and amazing. I was celebrating my birthday there and was more than happy to start the special occasion with glasses of prosecco, we had the beef burger which was juicy and yummy, while their miso carbonara was special and flavourful. Starters such as their burrata and Parma ham toast were delicious but servings were small. Desserts such as their chocolate orange and pistachio crumble were lovely and well executed. Complimentary chocolate truffles with a happy birthday sign were given to me and it was such a pleasant surprise. Love it here at Siri House, so do try it! #tripblazers

It is an ideal place for the weekend. Dempsey Hill is a charming and picturesque area in Singapore that ocated just a short distance from the bustling Orchard Road shopping district and Holland Village, this former British army barracks has been transformed into a trendy enclave of chic boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and bars. The first thing that strikes you about Dempsey Hill is its lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens (see p3). The area is surrounded by trees and foliage, which provide a peaceful respite from the city's busy streets. Walking through the area, you'll find many unique and quirky shops selling everything from antique furniture to bespoke fashion, art, and jewelry. The cafe at the corner is definitely worth trying! it is a classy Singaporean building surrounded by greenery. And the coffee are well worthy its price. One of the highlights of Dempsey Hill is its excellent dining scene. The area is home to many highly regarded restaurants that serve a range of cuisines from all around the world.

Dempsey Hill and MOIC

#singapore Dempsey Hill is a place within Dempsey Road which has many Michelin-started restaurants with great ambiance for peaceful meal. Yesterday morning, I went for a jogging and visited the Dempsey Hill shops. It was my first time to go deeper within Dempsey Hill up to Loewen Road where I saw different lifestyle activity centres such as swimming, soccer, gymnastics, spa, and even pet parlour. The environment was very peaceful and remote from the bustling CBD. It was truly relaxing, although the weather at the time of my visit was so hot. Also within the Loewen Road is the Museum of Ice Cream which showcases the different ice creams and let’s you have a taste of it. The museum opens at 10am daily and tickets can be purchased online to schedule the visit.

Build Your Own Chocolate Station at Dempsey!

Mr Bucket Chocolaterie - Dempsy Factory 📍13 Dempsey Rd, #01-03/04, Singapore 249674 Went on a Saturday with my boyfriend to try out their creation station where you can build-your-own chocolate slab for just $21.90. No wait or reservation was necessary, you could just walk up to the station and start choosing your base + 3 toppings. It was alot quicker thn i thought it would be. The process took us about 5 mins with the staff mixing in our ingredients for us. However you would have to wait about 30-40 mins once you’ve paid for the chocolate to be chilled. Once they were done i was really happy with my choice of chocolate & toppings While waiting we decided to try out their 72% single origin milkshake and 72% single origin hot chocolate. It was okay nothing too special. *Do take not it was pretty crowded and we had to wait for a seat due to the long queue during the weekend. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming!!! Girls night out at Dempsey

We decided to head to dempsey for a little girls night out on Friday, all dressed up, we entered the resturant. Replicating the warmth and distinction of dining in a luxurious home, there were two main dining area - an open kitchen where chefs prepare, cook and plate; and a living room with a background of new york’s city skyline! We were sitted in the living room for dinner, and we ordered: 1. Fremantle Octopus - 10/10 I’ve never ever dred to eat an octopus, but this dish was well put together! Served with some corn and sunchoke mash, the whole dish was well balance in flavour and texture! I wish the portion was larger to share. 2. Beef Ribeye - 10/10 Another well put together dish! The beef was juicy and tender, and well seasoned with salt and pepper. One of the best ribeye I’ve tried for the price! 3. Seedlip grove 42 - 8/10 it was interesting but the taste of ginger was rather strong for my liking! Overall a really nice once in a life experience to try out with your friends! #mustvisit

Price per Person - Rating - 5/5 This was one of the first fine dining places that my partner brought me too. It was christmas eve set dinner and the place was packed. We were abit early though Food was awesome. Plated beautifully and served just in time that you dont get hungry while waiting for your next course. I especially like the foie gras! We had such fond memories that we actually went back in the last month of its operations to have a last meal. Pity that it has since closed. A local brewhouse away from the city

#moreinsg We gathered for a farewell meal last Thursday before one of us relocates to Rio for the next couple of years. Tucked away in quiet Dempsey Hill, RedDot Brewhouse is another lovely place to unwind, with an impressively furnished indoor dining area overlooking lush surrounding greenery. One of its special features include authentic hand-crafted beers curated by their very own in-house brewmaster, and I just had to try their brainchild by the name of Monster Green Lager 🍺 As its name suggests, the sparkling green colour stands out (which was also what attracted me most) and this is actually due to the chlorophyll content of spirulina. More interestingly, spirulina is an algae rich in a range of vitamins and minerals, boosting the production of white blood cells and antibodies that fight viruses and bacteria in your body. Now that’s a really healthy beer yo! 😂

This place offer a healthier version of fine dining in western style, using organic and healthy ingredients. I came here with clients to enjoy lunch together. The place is quite secluded, it's like a house with parking lot available. This restaurant served varieties of chinese food with a twist. Ah Di Durian @ Dempsey

It is found at a secluded carpark) Ah Di Durian is one of the durian stalls that sell the most varieties of durian. Their selection ranges from King of Kings, Mao Shan Wang, Red Prawn, Gold Phoenix, Black Thorn, Black Pearl, and Century. The stall run by uncle boss named Ah Di, and his wife the lady boss, both of them know a lot about the durian and its varieties and are proud to support local because his products are fresh off the boat from Pulau Ubin. Vibrant dining paradise

Dempsey Hill is a diners’ paradise. One stop shop for multi-cuisine dining adventure, from Mexican to Thai, to Vietnamese, Italian, Greek and much more. One can enjoy the weekend there however must be wary of limited parking slots. The place can be a bit crowded and getting a good parking is a struggle.

Excellent cocktail place at Dempsey

We have bought their bottle of gin before but have never tried it, so glad that we came here on a Friday night! We were pleasantly surprised by this place, a small place but it’s very cozy and chill. And I’m surprised that their cocktails prices are very affordable!! All drinks are at range $20-25, we ordered 5 drinks in total and all were GREATTTTT!! The owner here are very friendly, we were served free Gimblet when we first arrived, and the Gimblet was really well balanced! The highlight of the night will go to the live band, both of them are so good and you can even make your own song requests! Majority of the customers here are angmoh 😂 This place also sell their own house Gin as well, we were given 15% off all Gins over here!! Oh do take note that is a daily small place, so remember to make a reservation before heading down to prevent disappointment. The kitchen closed at 9:30pm, so so come early if you want to order food.

One of our fav Mexican restaurant, the poblano is my fav ( Jalapeño stuffed with meat at cheese), I was once recommended by the chef and it become one of the must order item! Fajitas is one of our fav too, love the idea that you can make your own wrap, it’s served in a hot pan. However, we were quite shocked that when we were told to be charged SGD 20 if we want to have our own birthday cake in this restaurant, this is my first time hearing this. Anyway, this is the only down side of this place. would still recommend for their food.

Peruvian gem at Dempsey!

Address - Canchita Peruvian Cuisine, Dempsey Road 9A 9B Ambiance/Facilities - Posh and Pricey Highlights - The food at this place is worth every penny! First pic - Grilled squid with lima beans. Squid was cooked perfectly and spiced well. The lima beans gave it a good crunch and texture too! Second pic - Seafood Ceviche. I was a little skeptical about this dish, but wow it’s a burst of taste! Third pic - Tacos were good but not as wow as the rest of the dishes - you should skip this! Fourth pic - Sudado Amarillito is a fisherman soup sorta dish (drier version of a soup). Really tasty and different too! Last pic - Coconut cake was super moist. A tad sweet for me but it was a really good choice to end the meal after so much of seafood! Avg. Price per Person - $70 Rating - 4.5/5

Dempsey is a must visit when you are looking for an upscale dining especially for a dinner date, anniversary or some sort of special even celebration. Dempsey offers many top restaurants and cafes like P.S Cafe, Jumbo Seafpod Restaurant, C.M.P.B and Moonbow which we will be featuring. Moonbow is located at Block 10 Dempsey Rd, #01-21 with a menu offering modern European cuisine where it will nicely decorated before serving you espeically thejr dessert where they mostly use cotton candy to make it feel magical.
