South America 26-Day Itinerary
Our 26-day South America trip covering five countries (Brazil 🇧🇷, Argentina 🇦🇷, Uruguay 🇺🇾, Chile 🇨🇱, Peru 🇵🇪) has successfully concluded.
It left everyone with deep impressions and wonderful memories. Along the way, we experienced spring, summer, autumn, and winter, feeling the most diverse landscapes on Earth 🌍;
1. We admired the wonders of nature and its beauty (Moreno Glacier, Iguazu Falls).
2. We participated in the most passionate party on Earth 🎉 - the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.
3. We also explored South America's superlatives on the planet:
A. The longest mountain range in the world ⛰️, the Andes Mountains (8,900 km).
B. The largest alluvial plain: the Amazon Basin, covering about 5.6 million square kilometers.
C. The largest plateau (non-ice cap): the Brazilian Highlands, covering over 5 million square kilometers with gentle terrain.
D. The driest desert: the Atacama Desert (Peru 🇵🇪 Lima-Pisco), with an average annual rainfall of less than 0.1 millimeters, known as the "world's driest place."
E. Checked in at the world's longest highway 🛣️, the Pan-American Highway main route, 48,000 km.
4. Two of the New Seven Wonders of the World - Christ the Redeemer and Machu Picchu.
5. We also observed two of the world's greatest mysteries: the Moai statues 🗿 and the Nazca Lines.
We also briefly visited South American cities.
I believe that years from now, when we open the photo album, the memories will be full.
