Tired of the daily grind and want to find a place to stay quietly for a few days this weekend! After hiking Guimeng Mountain, I came to Mengtong Shengjing looking for a quiet, photogenic homestay to stay for a couple of days, and I fell in love with this place at first sight! The cave stays in the mid-teens °C, so summer visits are most comfortable. The Yimeng Mountain area is large; choose either Guimeng or Yunmeng and don't try to do everything. Admission is around CNY 80; the cable car is extra. 📍 At the foot of Mengshan there's a stir-fry restaurant where a small portion is about CNY 50, enough for 2–3 people. ⚠️ Cell signal is weak on the mountain — download offline maps first.
