✨ Temple Highlights
· 🙏 Luang Pho To (Standing with an Alms Bowl)

Maeklong Railway Market, Samut Songkhram Province
🚂 We traveled by train from Bangkok to Maeklong Railway Station. On the way, as we approached the station, vendors were selling goods along the railway tracks. This place is known as Maeklong Railway Market or famously called the "Risky Market."
🏡 The market operates daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Vendors sell fruits, seafood, and various items along the railway tracks. When the train approaches, vendors quickly pack up their goods extending onto the tracks in a blink of an eye to allow the train to pass. This is the origin of the name "Maeklong Railway Market," as vendors fold their umbrellas when the train comes. Once the train passes, they reopen their umbrellas and resume selling their goods.
This market is particularly famous for its mackerel fish, known as "Maeklong Mackerel," which is popular for its large size and sweet, rich flavor. Many tourists visit this market because it is convenient to travel to and offers a fascinating experience. Everyone eagerly waits to see the moment when vendors fold their umbrellas as the train approaches.
The train passes through the market eight times a day, from morning to evening. If you visit Maeklong, don't forget to take photos or videos of the vendors folding their umbrellas when the train comes—it’s truly an amazing sight!
Tham Nam Temple
A nearly full-flowing cave, the water flows from a canal adjacent to the temple and then out through another channel called the "Water Shaft." Inside the cave, there is a concrete walkway where visitors can admire stalactites and stalagmites, as well as a sacred Buddha image. The temple has provided a concrete walkway for tourists to explore the cave, admire the stalactites and stalagmites, and pay respects to the Buddha image inside. Parking, restrooms, and food are available for the monkeys, as the area outside the cave is home to monkeys.

🌳 Recommend a great restaurant "Amphawa", anyone who goes there must not miss it!😋✨
❤️ Randomly looking for a restaurant right there because I was really hungry. I chose this restaurant because it had a lot of reviews and looked really delicious. In conclusion, I guarantee that it's really delicious!!
🌳 If you're going to Samut Songkhram, I recommend you to stop by this restaurant: "Ranjuan Amphawa". The restaurant is decorated in a homey style. When you enter, it feels like you're going to a cafe. But it's a restaurant with a lot of menus to choose from. And we chose it because we were hungry and ordered a lot. 55555 But every menu is delicious!! So awesome 😂
🦑 Because it's located near the Mae Klong River, you have to order seafood. Fresh, delicious, and well-made for every menu. Tom Yum with seafood, crab curry with cha-phu leaves is awesome! The crab egg chili paste is a must-order. For the price, I think it's reasonable because the quality, taste, and quantity are okay. It's another restaurant. If we go to Amphawa, we will definitely stop by to eat again. ✨
📍 Location: Ranjuan Amphawa, Samut Songkhram Province ⏰ Open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Suitable for those who want to find a place to sit and relax by the river.
The menu is not expensive at all. Only 10 baht. The desserts are delicious. You have to try ordering them.
There are a moderate number of menus to choose from. Not too little, not too much.
👉🏻 If anyone goes to Ratchaburi city and wants to find a cafe, try this place. It's in the city.

We really like this place. There are many activities to do, such as paddling a duck boat, riding a horse cart, feeding goats and capybaras. It's so much fun. There are also cute ducks. If anyone has plans to visit Ratchaburi, we recommend this place. 🤍

Visit Wat Khanon and explore the Nang Yai Museum.
Visit Wat Khanon to pay respects to Phra Phuttha Sila Sakyamuni, worship Luang Pu Klom, explore the Nang Yai Museum, and beware of monkeys chasing and biting.
Wat Khanon, originally named Wat Kanon Prowas, is one of Thailand's significant temples. It is renowned for preserving the cultural art of Nang Yai shadow puppetry and has been registered by UNESCO as a cultural heritage of the Asia-Pacific region (ACCU). Nearby the temple was a tax collection checkpoint called Khanon checkpoint. During the reign of King Rama V, when he visited the area, Luang Pu Klom, the abbot of Wat Kanon at that time, remarked, 'It is embarrassing to name a temple after an animal. It would be better to change the name.' Thus, the name was changed from 'Wat Kanon' to 'Wat Khanon Prowas,' reflecting the tax collection checkpoint adjacent to the temple.
Wat Khanon Shadow Puppet Museum: Thai Arts and Culture 🎭
The Wat Khanon Shadow Puppet Museum is located in Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. It is an important and interesting cultural tourist attraction for those who want to experience Thai cultural heritage. "Nang Yai" is an ancient Thai performing art that is hard to find nowadays. Wat Khanon is one of the places that still preserves this art very well. The characteristics of the shadow puppet are the use of buffalo or cow hides carved into the images of characters from Thai literature, such as the Ramakien, and then projected onto a white cloth screen. The movement of the shadow puppets to the rhythm of the beautiful melodies and rhythms is the charm that made the shadow puppets popular in the past.
One of the highlights of visiting the Wat Khanon Shadow Puppet Museum is watching the shadow puppet show, which is held regularly every Saturday or during important festivals. This show is unique, with the movement of the shadow puppets in harmony with live Thai music, allowing the audience to experience Thai art and culture that is still vibrant.
