Had a wonderful spa day with friends and truly enjoyed the sunny weather. We also had a really nice lunch. Patrick, the spa manager, was absolutely amazing—so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be coming back soon.

I booked a 2-day spa package as a surprise treat for a friend and myself, and it absolutely lived up to expectations! Liam (front desk), Brandon (bar/restaurant), and Patrick (Spa Manager) all took outstanding care of us, and we genuinely have no complaints—well, maybe just that it wasn’t long enough! Any minor issues, like me accidentally wiping my card by keeping it in my pocket with my phone, were quickly resolved. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you all for a fantastic little escape!

We stayed overnight as part of the Emmerdale tour deal. It was a fantastic experience; while the lodges show signs of wear, they are warm, cozy, and equipped with everything you might need. There's a good hostess tray and a fridge, plus plenty of hot water for a refreshing shower, though the showerhead did have trouble staying upright. The food is excellent, and the lake-side setting is stunning, with wildlife to enjoy as you dine. Breakfast was lovely with a wide range of options. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We definitely plan to return.

Chevin Country Park is a fantastic place to stay, with an incredibly friendly team. Special thanks to Matt and Lisa for making the experience exceptional, particularly as a solo traveler. The food was outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I highly recommend this destination to anyone seeking a serene and peaceful getaway.

The staff here are genuinely kind and welcoming. We were served by Brandon and Ash during our evening meal, and they were very personable, really putting in effort to ensure we were well looked after. Our room was in a block of three, clean, warm, and offered great value. The location was wonderful, nestled in the woods, though you can hear airplanes taking off throughout the day and night. The added value of the Spa and evening dinner is excellent, and the food quality is definitely 5-star!

Had a great relaxing afternoon with a nice lunch and a few drinks. The spa area was very calm and soothing, surrounded by beautiful nature. Witold was incredibly helpful, offering refreshing drinks and being very friendly throughout. It was a wonderful little getaway from a busy lifestyle.

What a beautiful place! I visited with my daughter for a spa morning at Chevin Country Spa, and it was such a relaxing and peaceful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. We had treatments with Kirsty and Sue, and honestly, they were some of the best we’ve experienced in a long time. Both were professional, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. We would 100% recommend them 👌 We had the afternoon tea, which was fabulous, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This place is truly beautiful with amazing staff, and we always have such a great time here! The restaurant is charming, offering stunning views of the lake and serving incredible food. The log cabins are immaculate, featuring a bed that's incredibly comfortable. We've been to the spa several times and always find it relaxing and spotless. Huge thanks to the staff for their warm hospitality, which keeps us coming back again and again! Mackenzie is absolutely our favorite, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our stay is exceptional. The hotel is also very dog-friendly, and our golden retriever Ted always receives VIP treatment. We can't find fault with this wonderful place!

The location is superb, offering a secluded and quiet environment. The staff are warm and welcoming. While the rooms are simple, they are kept clean, providing all you need for a pleasant getaway. The spa is delightful, and we've been visiting this place for six years now. Each visit offers new additions, enhancing the experience—like whirlpools, shaded areas, sun loungers, and charming twinkle light posts. The food, whether it's dinner or breakfast, is consistently excellent. We'll definitely return!

I booked a solo spa day for my birthday, having never been to a spa before, so I had nothing to compare it to. However, I ended up having a fantastic time, thanks to people convincing me I’d enjoy it even alone—and they were right. The location was absolutely stunning, so quiet and peaceful, though I initially felt a bit awkward going solo. Thankfully, the people I met throughout the day were wonderful. My treatment was simply amazing, leaving me deeply relaxed. A big shout-out to Steve, who greeted me at the reception. He mentioned he was just stepping in and wasn’t usually at reception, but he was incredibly welcoming and even gave me a good laugh beforehand. I also saw him attending to the hot tubs a few times—he really went above and beyond. Lunch in the restaurant afterward was equally lovely. I had a smoked salmon sandwich and was treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was the perfect way to end the day. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I’ll definitely be coming back—maybe with a friend next time! 🤣

Had a fantastic day at Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa. Afternoon tea was lovely, and we were served by Matt and Lisa. I must particularly thank Matt—he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and undeniably a credit to the hotel. We spent the afternoon enjoying the pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub, then finished off with a latte and cake (thanks again, Matt!). I would definitely recommend Chevin Lodge—such a relaxing experience in a beautiful setting with delightful staff. 🥂👍🏻

Our stay at the Chevin was genuinely enjoyable. The staff were always polite and friendly, making us feel thoroughly cared for during our visit. Notably, Matt and Cat, who mainly handled the evening dining service, were incredibly warm, attentive, and accommodating. Their excellent hospitality truly elevated our time there. Moreover, the rooms were spotless, well-kept, and cozy, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

The location was stunning, teeming with beautiful wildlife to admire. The staff were friendly and attentive—special thanks to Brandon, who looked after us during dinner; he went above and beyond. The spa facilities were great, and the team there was incredibly welcoming. One staff member even lent my mum his glasses when she forgot hers—such a thoughtful gesture. We tried the Sacred facial, which was absolutely blissful! The therapists were outstanding. We stayed in a log cabin, although next time we’d love to try the lakeside rooms as the view was breathtaking. Our spa package from Spa Breaks was excellent value for money, making the trip even better. It’s also wonderful that they welcome dogs. As dog owners, my mum and I really appreciated knowing we could bring them along next time. No major complaints—the only thing I’d suggest is modernizing the accommodation, but that’s minor. Highly recommend! 🤩

Had a delightful night away with my husband. A big thank you to Matt, Cat, and Lucasz for the excellent evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was superb. We were treated wonderfully, and the service was fantastic. While the spa area was rather small, it was perfectly adequate for a tranquil evening—especially enjoying the sauna and outdoor hot tubs. It was unfortunate that the steam room was unavailable due to a mechanical issue. Our bedroom was cozy, but there was some mold on the silicone edges around the chalet bathroom windows that could use attention, and the phone in room 48 wasn’t working to contact reception. Despite these minor setbacks, everything else was lovely! We're looking forward to visiting again.

We enjoyed a delightful overnight stay here! Our standard double room was spotless and cozy, with a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us as part of our Wowcher deal—such a nice touch! The bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent; we had lunch, dinner, and breakfast before leaving—no complaints at all. The spa was fantastic, and the man at the desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even bringing us bubbles so we didn’t need to keep getting up. We slept wonderfully—it was so quiet and serene, with only birds chirping in the morning. We even spotted baby ducks by the lake! Parking was super convenient, right outside our lodge/room. We’ll definitely be back!

My daughter brought me here for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea, and we received a wonderful warm welcome. Our table was by the window, offering a lovely view of the pond. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the food was absolutely delightful. I’d definitely return, especially in the summer when all the trees and flowers are in full bloom.

Situated in a charming rural area surrounded by woods, it exudes a truly serene atmosphere. Similar to a ski lodge, the cosy main building with its quirky charm makes for an incredibly relaxing environment. The room was exceptional—inviting, warm, and extremely comfortable.

We reserved the private function room and the outdoor veranda to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. Opting for the Hog Roast for our 50 guests turned out to be a fantastic choice—everyone absolutely loved it. The food was perfectly prepared, served right on time, and accompanied by wonderful, friendly service. Generous portions, a vegetarian option, and delicious salads were all included. The homemade roast potatoes and gravy were a standout. The hotel allowed us to customize the room setup to our liking and were incredibly helpful throughout the process. Tyran, the events manager, was outstanding, and Alice, our designated host for the night, was always on hand and fantastic. We even included our own saxophonist, which elevated the evening to another level. We spent the night in the Wharfedale room, which had a beautiful view of the small lake. The room itself was so cozy and perfectly equipped. Breakfast the next day was a treat, with plenty of options and local produce. This place truly made our special day unforgettable. The restaurant by the lake had plenty of choices for food and drinks, and Matt, in particular, made us feel very special and warmly welcomed. I booked this property for a client, and they wholeheartedly recommend it and plan to return. This is a stunning getaway that truly gives the impression of being secluded. The grounds are picturesque, and the hotel maintains a warm, rustic woodland lodge vibe throughout. The food was excellent, and the prices for both meals and drinks were reasonable. Guests can enjoy superb spa facilities, with the added bonus of a complimentary hour in both the morning and evening. The staff were outstanding, with special kudos to Alice for her exceptional assistance, including moving my client from a chilly Woodland Lodge room to a warmer Hotel Room. The Lodge rooms are spacious and convenient, with parking available right outside the door. Hotel Rooms, while smaller, are cosy, well-equipped, and still retain that charming woodland atmosphere. That said, some areas of the hotel could use a little attention, and it's worth noting that the Hotel Rooms have thin walls, making it easy to hear your neighbours. The Lodge was a little too cold for my client during the winter (a small heater was provided), but the staff promptly relocated them to a more comfortable Hotel Room. Overall, I highly recommend this property and will definitely book it again for future clients.

My partner and I visited for my birthday and stayed in the Swaledale Lodge, which featured its own private hot tub. The lodge was extremely spacious, cozy, and spotless. The bed was very comfy. It was equipped with a microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and a wine cooler. The shower was impressively large. I also had a treatment with Sally, who gave me a facial that left me feeling very relaxed—my partner even said I was glowing afterward. We enjoyed an evening meal, which was absolutely delicious, along with breakfast the next morning. The only downside was that one night wasn’t long enough. However, we’re planning to return in late January or early February for his birthday. Unfortunately, this lodge is already booked for those dates, so we’re hoping to secure a cabin instead.

We enjoyed a stunning weekend here to mark our first wedding anniversary. The Christmas decorations were already up, making the hotel look absolutely lovely during this season. Every meal—lunch, dinner, and breakfast—was fantastic, and the bar and restaurant staff were exceptionally kind. A special shoutout to Tyran for organizing our stay and to Sally for providing an amazing full body massage!

We stayed at Clairon Lodge Campsite, which had clean facilities and a beautiful view of the dales. It was walking distance from the two villages located nearby, and we particularly enjoyed going to Otley which was a half an hour stroll from the campsite. The village had a market and a lovely fish and chip shop, all around our trip felt very peaceful and I would recommend doing similar if you fancy an inexpensive and remote getaway from city life. At the camp site the stars were visible at night and we could see all the constellations which made the trip even more special.

Spent quality time with my best friend on a much-needed spa retreat here. We snagged a deal for an overnight stay and included spa access featuring a treatment, evening meal, and morning breakfast. At check-in, McKenzie graciously informed us that we'd received a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which was fantastic. The room was lovely, though slightly cold, and the downstairs TV lacked signal for many channels. The spa was delightful, notably the outdoor hot tubs with a serene lake view. Sadly, the treatments were disappointing, feeling more like a tickle than a massage due to minimal pressure. The food, especially our dinner, was excellent. All the staff were fantastic and very accommodating.

This is the ideal spot to unwind with its outstanding setting and wonderful staff. We are always greeted warmly, especially our Golden Retriever, Ted! We visit regularly and everything—from the food to the accommodations and the spa—is exceptional. A special shoutout to McKenzie, who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is just right.
