The experience of visiting this spot, different from the usual locations, is truly unique. The open-air feeling at approximately 350 meters in height adds a special touch. Having been to similar places, like Bangkok, I can say this one stands out. The views of up- and downtown Manhattan are spectacular. I would definitely recommend paying a visit.

The voco Times Square South is centrally located in Manhattan. Many landmarks, restaurants, and attractions are within convenient walking distance, and there are several easily accessible subway stations nearby. The reception was friendly. The lobby features a small bar, and guests receive a complimentary welcome drink. We also appreciated the small shop area offering various drinks, sandwiches, coffee, and other snacks. Our room was clean and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. A nice touch was the two bottles of still water provided upon arrival, though it was a minor disappointment that they weren't replenished during the stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower spacious, and we enjoyed a wonderful view of some of the surrounding skyscrapers. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, so we can’t comment on that. Overall, it’s an excellent city hotel with a superb location, friendly service, and all essentials for a few days in Manhattan.

We visited this rooftop bar on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was. Even without a reservation, we managed to get an excellent table at the front of the terrace. The view was absolutely breathtaking: Manhattan's skyline, the Hudson River, a beautiful sunset, and we even got a great look at the Ground Zero light installation test and the Empire State Building. We only had drinks while there. The sole downside was that beer was only available in cans, not on tap. However, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the overall ambiance was very pleasant and relaxing. Given the stunning view, we found the price-performance ratio for a rooftop bar to be completely reasonable. We highly recommend spending a few hours here to soak in the mesmerizing cityscape.

A fantastic experience for a family trip! The rooms are spacious for a hotel in Manhattan, and the neighborhood is peaceful. The kitchen is a real bonus with kids, featuring a good-sized fridge instead of a mini one. The breakfast is basic (bagels, toast, yogurt, porridge, eggs, cereal, juice) and can be taken to go. Carlos and Claudia are lovely and extremely helpful 🙏🏻. At reception, Vanessa took excellent care of us during both stays 🙏🏻. There's a paid laundry facility that's fast and efficient 👍. We didn’t try the gym, but it looked great. We’ll definitely be back!

A free ferry connects Midtown Manhattan to Staten Island, passing close to the Statue of Liberty. No tickets are needed—just hop on and go. Ferries run every half hour for round trips. Sit on the right side of the ferry on your way there. Once you arrive at Staten Island, take a quick visit to the 9/11 Memorial and then head back to Manhattan. There’s not much else to see. Avoid the outlet near the arrival point—it’s quite bleak.

For years, I often overlooked New York’s Little Italy whenever visiting Manhattan’s Chinatown. Despite being adjacent to each other and contrasting in character, I seemed to always pass through Little Italy without pausing for a deeper look. A few years ago, I did a quick trip through the area but spent little time exploring. This time, however, I chose to slow down and truly take it all in. I wandered through the neighborhood, passing countless Italian restaurants, small shops, and storefronts that define its authentic Italian charm—some even sell souvenirs. Many restaurants had outdoor seating with tables spilling onto the sidewalks, creating a lively atmosphere with diners enjoying meals while pedestrians moved about. What stood out most were the vibrant colors, the rich Italian ambiance, and the energetic buzz of the community. After experiencing the distinctly Chinese vibe of Chinatown, stepping into Little Italy felt like entering a whole new world, despite them being just a short walk apart. Unlike past hasty visits, I took time to truly explore, soaking in the storefronts and embracing the energy coursing through the streets. The places often overlooked on initial visits sometimes turn out to offer the most joy when given proper attention. Getting to Little Italy is also straightforward. It’s easily reachable by walking from the Spring Street subway station, located at its northern end. Taking Line 6 from Grand Central and alighting at Spring Street brings you to the edge of the neighborhood to start exploring. Although small, Little Italy’s colorful streets, outdoor dining spots, Italian character, and lively atmosphere made this slow-paced visit feel like a fresh, long-overdue discovery of this unique part of Manhattan.

We have been staying at the Equinox Hotel New York in Hudson Yards for seven years now, and our August stay was another reminder of why we keep coming back. At this point, Equinox truly feels like our home in New York City. This time, we stayed in a high-floor corner Junior Suite with breathtaking Hudson River views. The bedroom faces west directly over the river, with another wall of windows offering a stunning view south toward downtown Manhattan. We've stayed in many beautiful hotels, but waking up to this view of New York is hard to top. If you're considering the Equinox Hotel and care about views, ask for a high-floor corner Junior Suite on the Hudson River side—it’s absolutely the one to choose. While the hotel and its views are undeniably gorgeous, they are not the main reason we’ve returned year after year. It’s the people and the unparalleled service. Walking into the hotel in a bustling city like New York and genuinely feeling like you’re coming home—that’s what makes Equinox special. Every time, we are greeted with warmth, from the doorman to the front desk to management. They know us, they care for us, and their thoughtfulness and attention to detail make each stay personal and memorable. During this visit, we also indulged in some spa and pool time. Detoxing, relaxing, and resetting while still being right at the heart of Manhattan is one of the things we cherish most about staying here. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to stay at some of the best luxury hotels worldwide, yet Equinox continues to set the standard for us. It’s not just the rooms, spa, pool, or stunning Hudson River views that stand out; it’s the way we feel when we’re there. Without hesitation, we would stay again and highly recommend the Equinox, especially the corner Junior Suite, to anyone looking for exceptional service and a memorable New York experience. We had an amazing stay here! The staff were extremely helpful and kind. One staff member even noticed my blisters from walking all day and went out of her way to get me bandaids, which was incredibly thoughtful. Our visit coincided with the US Open, and the hotel's proximity to the Grand Central subway stop was a huge advantage. It provided direct access to the tournament and made exploring Manhattan so convenient. We could easily reach almost any destination from this stop, making the location ideal. The rooftop was a lovely addition, offering stunning city views, especially during sunset. Everything in the hotel was clean and comfortable. Though the room was on the smaller side, this is quite typical for Manhattan, and its size was comparable to those in pricier boutique hotels. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if returning to Midtown.

Choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision. We felt completely at home. The location is excellent—close to everything in Manhattan and with a subway station almost at the door. We requested a room with a view, and the sight of the Skyline from our window was simply breathtaking. Fantastic. If I planned to splurge on just one NYC activity, it had to be a helicopter ride over Manhattan, and HeliNY exceeded all expectations. Booking was effortless, instructions were clear about where to go and check in, and the staff were friendly and supportive. The safety process was efficient and straightforward. The flight itself was phenomenal and surprisingly smooth. Seeing the city from above was surreal—Manhattan felt enormous yet small at the same time. We were fortunate to have a clear day, making the views absolutely stunning. A must‑do that’s highly recommended.

We were absolutely delighted with our hotel during our stay. The location is truly excellent, right in Manhattan. It's just next to Grand Central and within walking distance of countless attractions: Central Park, Times Square, and more. Everything in Midtown can be explored on foot. The staff are friendly and always available. The room was very clean, equipped with a microwave and a small fridge. The shower had a proper shower head! The rooftop terrace, open 24/7, offers a lovely view of the buildings. We enjoyed having breakfast there in the morning (with unlimited coffee/tea) and even had dinner a few times by bringing our own food. I highly recommend this hotel—we truly loved our experience!

One of the most expensive experiences of our entire US trip was a helicopter ride over New York City. For the two of us, it cost about $500. But the funniest thing is that Stas (my husband) specifically paid extra for a guaranteed shoe selfie seat (where you can stick your feet out of the helicopter during the flight and take a photo of them right over New York City😍). I decided to take the cheapest ticket without seat selection, but I thought to myself, I'll get the best seat... When they assigned us, it turned out I'd be sitting RIGHT NEXT TO THE PILOT – in a piggyback seat. At first, I was a little upset. For some reason, I thought the front of the cabin would be enclosed, and Stas would be taking beautiful photos of his feet over Manhattan, while I'd just be looking at everything through the glass. But it turned out I had an open seat too! And on top of that, I was sitting up front, so I had a nearly 180-degree view of New York City😍 So I saw not only what was to the side, but everything we were flying to🔥 In the end, Stas paid for a guaranteed seat, and I bought the cheapest ticket and got, I think, the best seat in the entire helicopter😂 And then they extended our flight time for free. We specifically took the shortest route (30 minutes). Once there, they offered us an extra charge for a longer flight, but we decided the shortest route was enough. So we declined. But as we later discovered, the other passengers in our group had purchased the longer program. In the end, they told us they were giving us the longer route for free😍 So we got another random upgrade🔥 What can you see from above? Practically all of Manhattan. We flew over the city, seeing Central Park, the skyscrapers, the Statue of Liberty, and all that famous New York skyline from above, which we'd seen hundreds of times in movies. I was especially impressed by Central Park. When you walk through it, you realize how huge it is. But only from above does it become clear just how gigantic a green rectangle it is amidst endless skyscrapers. And the photos of my feet above New York City are a special delight 😍 Was it worth the $500? For me, definitely yes. Expensive? Of course. But of all the excursions in New York, I would definitely repeat this flight. Especially if it's your first time in the city. Outside lies Manhattan’s busiest stretch of Fifth Avenue; inside, separated by a single stone wall, five thousand years of human memory are preserved in silence. Afternoon sunlight streams through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, slanting across the sandstone blocks of the Temple of Dendur. Outside, the greenery of Central Park sways in the breeze; inside, Egyptian deity reliefs from two thousand years ago remain. The remnants of ancient civilization and the modern metropolis converge in this singular moment. The most wondrous moment of standing before an original masterpiece is noticing the tiny stray bristles and the fine cracks in the dried paint left by an artist centuries ago—it is a poignant reminder that both the brilliance and the solitude of civilization were profoundly real.

This hotel is ideal for parents of Pace University students, located just around the corner from the school and dorms. I greatly appreciated having this space to help my daughter transition into her dorm. We first stayed at M Social when she was considering Pace, but I couldn’t book early enough for orientation and had to stay at a different hotel. Never again! I already have my next visit booked with M Social. For other parents, I highly recommend reserving your stay early to secure a room. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with stunning views. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the hotel’s convenient location near the University makes it worth every penny. Multiple subway stations are just a block away; I personally used the E train at the WTC station to travel around Manhattan. Plus, you'll find endless dining options nearby. This is truly the perfect hotel for downtown Manhattan, and I now consider it my home away from home in NYC. ♥️

The bridge is spectacular and very beautiful. We walked across it twice, once during the day and once at night. At night, it's amazing to see all of Manhattan lit up. However, I didn't like that the bridge was almost impossible to walk because there were so many people selling things on the ground, making it hard for us to pass.

If you’re looking for one unforgettable night view in New York, I’d recommend visiting the Empire State Building after sunset. What surprised me was that it isn’t just an observation deck. On the way up, there are exhibitions about the history and construction of the building, old New York, and its appearances in movies and pop culture. I especially loved the interactive displays — so don’t rush straight to the top. Then comes the highlight: the 86th-floor observatory. Seeing Manhattan completely lit up at night was one of my favourite views in New York. The streets look like glowing lines between the skyscrapers, and the city feels completely different from daytime. 🌃 My biggest tip: visit at night. My experience at The Kimberly Hotel was remarkable from start to finish, and it will undoubtedly be my go-to hotel whenever I visit New York City. A close friend, Tamara, recommended it to me, and I trust personal referrals because those close to me know my standards. Her suggestion was spot on, as the hotel exceeded all my expectations. My first interaction was with Marcia Skyers, the Sales and Marketing Manager. Learning that Marcia is Jamaican, like me, made me feel an instant connection. Beyond that, she is one of the kindest, most professional individuals I’ve met. She was warm, helpful, and welcoming from the outset. Upon arrival, I met Ralph, the first bellman I encountered. Ralph is a gem and, having visited Jamaica several times, we quickly clicked and had wonderful conversations. He was attentive and welcoming, traits that defined my experience with the entire team. I also have to commend Harry, Pedro, Noel, Nick, and David for their excellent service. A special shoutout to David, who graciously became my photographer on my last morning, leaving me with cherished photos and fond memories. Thank you, David! The Kimberly’s vintage sophistication sets it apart. Its distinctive design, furnishings, and ambiance give it an elegance that feels timeless. This is not just another generic hotel—it exudes character, comfort, and refinement. I was especially impressed by the staff’s loyalty. Marcia, Ralph, and several others have worked here for over 30 years, while many more have been here for over two decades. Such commitment is rare and speaks highly of the hotel’s culture, leadership, and values. The staff’s pride and camaraderie were evident in the way they cared for guests. Housekeeping was impeccable throughout my six-night stay. Mayra, Halida, Shefika, and Hadzira ensured my room was spotless and welcoming. Their attention to detail enhanced the overall comfort of my visit. Another highlight was the bed—it was one of the most comfortable I’ve experienced in any hotel. The mattress, linens, and pillows allowed me to rest easily after long, busy days exploring the city. Returning to such a peaceful and pristine room was a genuine pleasure. The rooftop bar and restaurant were fantastic. Hosting guests there was a joy, thanks to the inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and outstanding food. It was the perfect setting to relax and soak in Manhattan’s energy. The Kimberly’s location is incredibly convenient, placing many attractions, restaurants, and shops within a short walk. With the subway close by, I could navigate Manhattan with ease, making the most of my trip. My time in New York was truly unforgettable, and The Kimberly Hotel played a big role in that. It offers a blend of classic sophistication, unmatched comfort, stellar service, and an unbeatable location. Most importantly, the staff's genuine care leaves a lasting impression.
