Las Vegas 3-Day, 2-Night Itinerary
The "City That Never Sleeps," Las Vegas, is undoubtedly a must-visit destination in the United States! This time, I planned a three-day, two-night trip, focusing on the Las Vegas Strip, the Old Town, the Titanic Exhibition, and the iconic Cirque du Soleil show "Mystère." The itinerary was packed and exciting. Here's a breakdown of the trip and my thoughts:
🎰 Day 1: The Awe of First Encountering Vegas
Upon arrival, we headed straight to the Las Vegas Strip. Nearly every hotel here is a themed landmark:
🗽 New York New York: Features a mini Statue of Liberty and a Big Apple vibe.
🗼 Paris Hotel Eiffel Tower: Exudes romantic Parisian charm.
🏺 Luxor Pyramid: An Egyptian-themed hotel with spectacular nighttime lighting.
🎭 The Venetian: Offers indoor gondola rides with an incredibly romantic atmosphere.
You can also stop by the Bellagio Hotel & Casino to watch the free fountain show, which is truly breathtaking🤩.
Tip: Take an evening stroll along the Strip. The neon lights illuminate the desert city, creating a stunning view 🥳. If you get tired, you can try your luck at the casinos inside the hotels (though there seems to be no security check, under-18s will still be asked to leave) 😂.
🎲 Day 2: Daytime Exploration + Nighttime Iconic Show
During the day, we visited the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, one of the most surprising highlights of the trip:
🛳️ Upon entry, you receive a "boarding pass" of an actual passenger, making the experience immersive.
The exhibition gradually unfolds the passengers' emotions, the ship's layout, and the sinking process.
❄️ The most striking part is the "Iceberg Experience," where you can touch ice at the same temperature as that fateful night, feeling the bone-chilling cold.
🌌 My favorite part was the recreation of the first-class deck's night view, complete with sea breeze and starlit skies, making you feel as if you're truly aboard the ship.
🎟️ Tickets can be purchased on-site for about $40 per person.
In the evening, we watched Cirque du Soleil's Mystère:
🎫 Ticket prices vary by seat. I chose a front-row side seat for about $124 per person (booking through the official website is the most convenient).
Tip: For a full view of the performers' movements, choose a central seat. However, front-row seats offer more interaction, which is also worth it!
The performance combines acrobatics, dance, and theater, delivering a visual and auditory spectacle. It's definitely a must-see iconic show!
🌟 Day 3: Old Town Experience
Beyond the glamorous Strip, the highlight of Las Vegas' Old Town, Fremont Street, is the massive LED canopy light show overhead.
For thrill-seekers, there's a zipline experience 😂.
The Old Town is lively with street performers (but be cautious of scams; just watch and avoid getting involved, as they often demand hefty tips afterward).
The atmosphere here is more laid-back compared to the Strip. We had only explored the Las Vegas Strip on previous visits, so this time we decided to check out the Old Town as well.
Overall, a three-day, two-night stay in Las Vegas is a must when visiting the U.S. It's the perfect way to experience the beauty of this city that never sleeps and enjoy a whirlwind tour of the world in one place 🤩.
