Of course, Krabi means going to the islands to see the emerald green waters 🏝️ I opted for a half-day snorkeling trip so I wouldn't get too tired. Our first stop was: ✨ Koh Hong Lagoon – it was absolutely breathtaking! 🌊✨ The boat ride was amazing; surrounded by limestone cliffs, the emerald green water was crystal clear – no filters needed! Once we snorkeled, it was another world 🐠💙 Lots of fish, beautiful coral, perfect for photos. The sunlight hitting the water created the ultimate mood 🏝️📸 Floating around and listening to the water was so healing. It felt like a complete life recharge. Krabi Province is a dream destination for sea lovers, both Thai and international tourists. People from all over the world wish to experience the beauty of Krabi's sea at least once. 🩵🌊 So, how could we, as Thais, miss out on this? 💬 We opted for a one-day snorkeling tour, choosing the basic Krabi 4 Islands program. The itinerary included Phra Nang Cave Beach, Chicken Island, Tup Island (featuring the Unseen Thailand's "Talay Waek" or separated sea), and ended with a relaxing meal on Poda Island. 🕣 The meeting time was set for 8:00 AM, and a car picked us up right from our hotel in Ao Nang. Upon arrival at the pier, there were registration tables for each tour. This trip also included travel insurance. 🚤 Once the group was ready, our guide led us to board the speedboat, and the 4 Islands tour began: 1) Phra Nang Cave Beach: Here, we walked through a cave to admire the stunning stalactites and stalagmites. The beach was beautiful, and there were rock climbing activities available. 2) Chicken Island: Though it’s named Chicken Island, we thought it resembled a long-necked herbivorous dinosaur. It’s up to your imagination! We snorkeled here with the island as a backdrop. The waves in this area were a bit strong. 3) Unseen Thailand - Talay Waek: The separated sea wasn’t very visible during our visit, as it was the full moon of the twelfth lunar month, causing high tides. This natural phenomenon connects Tup Island and Mor Island. The photos turned out stunning with clear skies and beautiful waters. 4) Poda Island: The highlight everyone was waiting for, as we were all getting hungry. We stopped here for lunch, which was a mini buffet with rice, 3-4 dishes, and fruits. After eating, we had time to stroll, swim, and relax. The island is spacious with breathtaking scenery. ⭐️ Overall, it was an impressive experience. The water was clear, the sea was beautiful, and the guide was attentive and fluent in English. Most of the tourists were foreigners.

This place is not very popular among tourists as it is located far from usual attractions and requires some effort to reach. The hike will be quite challenging for those without basic physical fitness. The elevation gain is 400 meters, and the total distance is about 8 km round trip. Along the way, there are many viewpoints. The entire journey will take at least 4-6 hours. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks. Entrance fee is 200 baht per person.

Princess Lagoon (Thale Lak) 🏝️ A true natural wonder! To see this hidden lagoon, you need to go through a cave and rappel down. During the rainy season, it fills with emerald water, making it tempting to dive from the sheer cliffs. Magical! 3. Phra Nang Cave Beach (Princess Cave Beach) 🏖️✨ And the legendary third chord! This beach is simply a fairy tale. Soft white sand, turquoise water, and sheer limestone cliffs. But the main highlight is the Spirit Cave of the Princess, where local fishermen and tourists bring offerings of wooden phalluses to appease the spirit and ensure a good catch. A unique sight! 📍How to get there: ▪️ Railay can only be reached by boat from Ao Nang, Krabi, or the Phi Phi Islands. ▪️ East Railay Viewpoint: Look for the sign near West Beach. The climb takes 15-20 minutes, but it's quite steep. ▪️ Princess Lagoon: Located along the same trail as the viewpoint. Immediately after the viewpoint, there's a descent to the lagoon. Be prepared for ropes and steep sections! 👀 What to see: ▪️ At the Viewpoint, catch the sunrise or sunset. Incredible colors! ▪️ At the Lagoon, watch daredevils jumping from the cliffs or conquer the heights yourself. 💡 My tips: ✅ Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes!
