#adventuretrips Pushing past the main plateau to tackle the surrounding ridgelines shifted the journey from a scenic stroll into a hardcore alpine climb. Scrambling up the steep, rocky slopes toward the outer edges of the plateau, the panoramic views exploded into a 360-degree vista of jagged limestone peaks stretching across Slovenia. The wind picked up fiercely as I walked the open ridge, testing my balance and stamina, but the breathtaking sensation of standing above a sea of rolling green hills with the entire alpine horizon at my feet was the ultimate reward.

Getting There - by car or a tourist bus. And you can reach the top by walking or cable car. Attractions - it's a 1666m mountain in the Slovenian Alps It's one of the most beautiful Alpine pastures in Europe Hotels - There are accomodations in surrounding towns. Food & Restaurants - On the top of the mountain you can by hand made goat cheese from the farmers. Shopping - anything the farmers have at the moment, from milk, to cheese maybe bread. #mountain #pastures
