I was honestly surprised at how beautiful the sea on the Japan Sea side of Tottori was! The clear tropical marine blue is comparable to the ocean of the tropics. It is unclear whether it was the off-season or if it just so happened to be before cleaning, but the views glimpsed from key points were full of spectacular views. While cycling along the coast, I found many small hills with observation points that looked like they had great views.
