Our 5-day journey from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga was truly unforgettable. We traveled through the High Atlas Mountains, visited Ait Ben Haddou and the stunning Dades Valley, explored Todra Gorge, and finally arrived at the golden dunes of Merzouga. The highlight was certainly the Sahara experience—riding camels at sunset, stargazing, and spending the night in a desert camp. The journey through the Ziz Valley, Middle Atlas, and Ifrane on the way to Fes was equally beautiful. Everything was well-organized, comfortable, and enjoyable from beginning to end. Our driver was friendly, professional, and made the long drives pleasant with plenty of stops for photos and sightseeing. We just finished our tour through Morocco (Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Meknes, Ifrane, Casablanca). It was an amazing experience! The itinerary was well-balanced between travel time, sightseeing, and free time. We chose to stay in Riads to fully embrace the local culture. Each one was carefully selected: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and staff always ready to assist with any need. Our guide, Youssef, was professional, friendly, and passionate about his country, making our experience truly enjoyable.

12 days exploring Morocco as a family: mom, dad, and their 13-year-old daughter. Antonella customized a tour tailored to our needs and preferences, allowing us to experience the diverse beauty of this wonderful country. From Marrakech to Casablanca and Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Ouarzazate, the Todra Gorges, Ifrane, Merzouga and the desert, the Ziz Pass, and the Ouzoud Waterfalls, every destination had its charm. For transport, we were accompanied by Hamid, an expert and punctual driver who was flexible enough to make slight detours. One such detour gave us the chance to visit the UNESCO Geopark Museum in Azilal—an impressive museum dedicated to the geology of the High Atlas, featuring a well-structured display, including dinosaur skeleton replicas, and currently undergoing expansion. During the long drives, it was a pleasure conversing with Hamid in excellent Italian about his country's customs and fascinating tidbits. A tip for the Ouzoud Waterfalls: skip the local guides offering to accompany you along the trail. The looped paths are well-marked, and exploring on your own allows you the freedom to have a meal while enjoying the stunning lower cascade view, rather than in the upper area. If you do dine at the top, try the pizza from the last kiosk on the left as you ascend the trail—it’s a delicious change from the 12 days of tajine, with great dough and toppings, and the burgers are worth a mention too!
