You don’t have to go island hopping when you visit Croatia, as you can just take a boat to Hvar and you’ll have everything you need! I already knew Hvar Island was beautiful before coming here, but I didn’t expect it to be so stunning. The glass-clear sea is a natural jelly color! ! 🏝️This is the sea that only appears when adjusting the color online, it is visible to the naked eye here! The moment you step off the boat, you will be completely captivated by the beautiful scenery! ✨ The island of Hvar meets all the expectations and needs of everyone for a vacation. Here, you just need to slow down and feel the healing power of the jelly sea. When you are tired, you can drink coffee and eat ice cream on the beach. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated with flowers. Everything is so beautiful! 🛳️Transportation: It is a 1-hour boat ride from Split. I bought tickets from TPLine and Krilo for the outbound and return trips respectively. Hvar is an amazing Croatian island that people don’t know enough about. The Town of Hvar has it all. Beaches, Sunshine, Nightlife and crystal clear water. I’ve been to many places around the world and rarely to beaches close to the towns have. I’ve clean water but this one has. The beaches are very close to all the hotel resorts and walking distance from the Center of town. The also have showers in the forests for you to wash off all the seawater, and most restaurants in town allow you to get a table in casual clothes. 😁If you are lucky you might also be able to see some ancient ships that still patrol the area. All in all I would definitely recommend this town and island to anyone that is visiting Croatia for its beauty and its untouched natural beaches. Hvar, also known as Lavender Island Hvar is famous for lavender. Many hawkers on the island sell lavender products, such as sachets and essential oils. Some essential oil bottles have hand painted on them Generally, tourists will stay here for one night and join the blue cave tour there. However, the weather was not really good when we arrived Hvar so we didn’t join the tour. I heard that blue caves are sometimes closed because the water level is too high. If you plan to visit the blue cave, you are suggested to ask the boat agent earlier. Also, you can rent a speedboat to visit nearby islands from Hvar. You can see many of these bakeries (PEKARA) in Croatia, open 24 hours and the price is reasonable, you can buy their bread for breakfast. It is tasty. Because Hvar has very famous stone terraces The whole city fluctuates with the terrain of the hillside, so the whole picture has many layers. Standing high on a hill on Korčula the vantage point gave us a view to both the Island of Brač and the Island of Hvar. Magic !!

This Croatian island is quite popular but for a good reason. You can easily flight in under 3 hours from London to Split international airport, after that you can take a fast ferry from Split to Hvar in just an hour. As soon as you get off, around the corner, you will be in the charming old town. Here you can admire the preserved historic buildings. One thing that is a must do is hiking to the Spanola fortress. The hike itself it’s not challenging and can be done in a dress and sandals, but bring a hat as the sun shines very strong. As soon as you reach the top you will be met with a breathtaking view of the island and the surrounding sea. Another thing to do is to join a boat tour and visit the Pakleni islands, the water is cristalline which is also perfect for snorkelling. Finally you will need to try the seafood here, it’s spectacular. My recommendation is the Dalmatian black squid ink risotto, Crni Rižot. #croatianislands

I took the ferry from Split early in the morning. During the hour-long journey, the Adriatic Sea shattered into a thousand pieces of blue glass. Upon landing, I headed straight for the Spanish Fortress and climbed the 365 stone steps. The entire city of Hvar lay spread out beneath my feet—orange-red roofs, a deep blue bay, and scattered sailboats, like a palette carelessly overturned by God. In the afternoon, many tourists plunged into Pokonji dol Bay, the water so clear that I could count the fine sand between my toes. On the beach, I heard Italian tourists toasting the arrival of summer with champagne flutes. Accessible only by boat from Hvar, the setting is peaceful and stunning, with tables under palm trees overlooking clear blue waters. I tried the lobster tortellini and the semi-cured monkfish—both beautifully prepared and full of fresh Mediterranean flavors. The organic meats from Rhug Estate were a unique treat, and the semifreddo dessert with lavender and almonds was the perfect finish.
