I just stayed at the Standard High Line Hotel this past weekend and had the time of my life. I went with someone special and initially had a liberty corner room, but it got upgraded to a suite. The views of the Hudson from three sides of the room were absolutely stunning. I specifically requested a bathtub, and we enjoyed romantic baths filled with bubbles and rose petals. Alexis was fantastic—truly the best. She made my birthday so memorable by bringing a bottle of Prosecco and a little cake with a candle to our room. One of the highlights of my day was receiving a thoughtfully written birthday note sent by Alexis, accompanied by an incredible illustration drawn by her colleague Tyreik. Being a huge fan of horror movies, I appreciated how perfectly tailored this surprise was, making my birthday even more special. Although I don’t visit NYC very often, Alexis made this stay so wonderful that I’ll return whenever I can. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion—whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or simply a romantic getaway with your partner! My expectations were far exceeded, and it’s all thanks to Alexis. Give her a raise!

As a New Yorker, I remember watching Little Island being built 8 years ago. I initially thought the project was overambitious and approached it with skepticism. After waiting 5 years since its opening, I finally visited with friends on a gorgeous day. The experience felt like walking on a roller coaster through a carefully designed landscape. While the views of lower Manhattan and the Hudson are enjoyable for tourists, they're far from the best in this world-class city. Personally, I find The High Line more intriguing. On the plus side, if you’re hungry after exploring, City Winery has a variety of dining options nearby.

I took Metro North for the first time from Grand Central to Tarrytown and back after flying into NYC for a family wedding. Purchasing tickets was straightforward and affordable, the ride was smooth, quick, and comfortable, and the views along the Hudson were stunning. It was such a pleasant experience, especially in comparison to the chaotic NYC subway! Helpful tip: Be sure to buy your tickets ahead of time at a kiosk or the Grand Central ticket booth, as fares go up if you pay on the train.

An amazing and original creation! It’s like a floating garden, featuring a viewpoint at the top that offers stunning views of the Hudson River. There are interactive sound art installations that children particularly enjoy. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re already walking along the High Line.
