I took the funicular up to Monumento al Pípila while visiting Guanajuato and the view from the top was absolutely worth it! amazing panoramic view of the city downtown — the colorful buildings, narrow streets, and the cathedral, the city is so vibrant. It’s hands down the best spot to take in the whole city. A tip: try to go in the late afternoon when the light is perfect, and it’s a bit cooler. This theater is located just before the funicular cable car that takes you to Pipila Hill. At night, the place is filled with music and street performances, and there are food stalls all around, making it a lively place. You can also visit the theater, but the ticket booth is in a confusing location, so you can't enter from the front. You have to go around to the right and buy tickets at a small window near the shops on the road to the funicular entrance for 60MX$ per person.
