Want to fly business class without spending thousands? 👀 There are actually a few ways to increase your chances of getting an upgrade — and most people never think to try them. Here are 7 worth knowing before your next flight 👇 1️⃣ JOIN THE AIRLINE’S LOYALTY PROGRAMME Even if you don’t fly constantly, joining is free. Frequent flyers and higher-status members can have better upgrade opportunities. 2️⃣ CHECK FOR UPGRADE OFFERS Airlines sometimes offer passengers the chance to bid for or buy an upgrade after booking. The price can be MUCH lower than buying a business-class ticket outright. 3️⃣ BOOK AN ELIGIBLE ECONOMY FARE Not every economy ticket can be upgraded. Before booking, check whether your fare is eligible for upgrades using miles, points or cash. 4️⃣ USE YOUR AVIOS / POINTS SMARTLY 💳 Sometimes using points to upgrade an existing booking can represent much better value than using them to book business class from scratch. 5️⃣ TRAVEL AT QUIETER TIMES Upgrade opportunities depend heavily on the flight. If business class is already full, there’s obviously less opportunity — so choosing less busy flights can sometimes help. 6️⃣ DRESS SMART & BE POLITE 😉 No, wearing a suit doesn’t magically get you upgraded. But being friendly, polite and easy to deal with certainly won’t hurt if the crew ever has discretion over where passengers are seated. 7️⃣ CHECK YOUR BOOKING AFTER YOU’VE PAID This is the one people forget! 👀 Airlines can release upgrade offers after you’ve booked, so keep checking your booking and emails rather than assuming your original seat is your final one. 💡 BONUS TIP: If you’re celebrating something, tell the airline or crew — but don’t expect a free upgrade. You might get lucky, but it’s never guaranteed! Business class doesn’t always have to mean paying the full advertised price. ✈️🥂 SAVE THIS before your next flight! Would you pay a few hundred pounds to upgrade to business class if the opportunity came up? 👇 #LuxuryTravel #TravelHacks #BusinessClass #TravelGoals #TravelTips #LuxuryLifestyle #TravelInStyle #FirstClass #FrequentFlyer #TravelSmart #DreamTravel #TravelInspiration #Wanderlust #LuxuryGetaway #BucketListTravel

You could be walking straight past an airport lounge without realising you already have access. 👀🥂 Here are 7 ways to get lounge access without paying for a one-off lounge pass: 💳 1. CHECK YOUR BANK CARDS Some premium payment cards include airport lounge benefits such as Priority Pass. You might already have access as part of a card benefit — check your benefits before buying a lounge pass. 🎟️ 2. CHECK YOUR AIRLINE STATUS Airline elite status can come with lounge access, depending on the airline, alliance and ticket you’re travelling on. If you’re a frequent flyer, check exactly what your status gives you. 🥂 3. FLY BUSINESS OR FIRST This one’s obvious… but people forget that lounge access is often included with eligible premium-cabin tickets. So before paying for a lounge, check your ticket benefits first. 👯 4. TRAVEL WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS ACCESS Some lounge memberships allow eligible members to bring guests — although whether the guest is free depends entirely on the membership/card. Don’t assume you’ll be charged until you’ve checked the benefits. 💳 5. CHECK YOUR CREDIT-CARD REWARDS Some cards offer lounge visits, lounge memberships or travel credits as part of their rewards package. Your card might have benefits you’ve never actually used. 🏢 6. CHECK YOUR WORK BENEFITS If you travel for work, your company may already provide access through a corporate travel programme, premium card or airline status. Definitely worth checking before your next business trip. 📱 7. CHECK BEFORE YOU FLY This might be the biggest hack of all. Before paying for anything, check: Your airline → your ticket → your credit cards → your loyalty status → your lounge programme. Priority Pass alone has 1,900+ lounges and airport experiences worldwide, and many payment cards offer complimentary membership. (Priority Pass) The luxury travel rule: Never pay for something you already have included. ✈️✨ 📌 SAVE THIS BEFORE YOUR NEXT FLIGHT And send this to the person who always arrives at the airport 4 hours early just to sit at the gate. 😂 #LuxuryTravel #TravelHacks #TravelGoals #TravelTips #BusinessClass #FirstClass #AirportLife #TravelInStyle #LuxuryLifestyle #FrequentFlyer #TravelSmart #TravelInspiration #DreamTravel #Wanderlust #airportlounge

Think Business Class always costs £3,000+? 👀 Here’s how frequent flyers get around the crazy prices… 1️⃣ START YOUR TRIP OUTSIDE THE UK 🇪🇺 This is a BIG one. Search Business Class from Dublin, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid or Stockholm instead of London. Sometimes the exact same long-haul flight is dramatically cheaper from a European starting point. 💡 Add a cheap positioning flight from the UK and compare the TOTAL price. 2️⃣ TRY “MIXED CABIN” SEARCHES 🔀 You don’t need Business Class for every leg. For example: 🇬🇧 London → Doha — Economy 🇶🇦 Doha → Bangkok — Business You can still get the lie-flat long-haul experience while paying considerably less overall. 3️⃣ CHECK BUSINESS CLASS AS A REWARD — EVEN IF YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH POINTS YET 💳 Don’t just look at the cash price. Check how many points/Avios the same seat costs and look for transfer bonuses or partner-airline reward availability. Sometimes the cash price looks ridiculous while the points price is surprisingly reasonable. 4️⃣ LOOK FOR THE UPGRADE ARBITRAGE 👀 Instead of buying Business outright: Buy a reasonably priced Economy/Premium ticket → check “Manage My Booking” → look for an upgrade offer or auction. Some airlines let you bid for empty Business seats shortly before departure. ⚠️ Never bid more than you’re genuinely happy to pay. 5️⃣ SEARCH FOR THE SAME FLIGHT FROM A DIFFERENT CITY ✈️ This is called a positioning flight. Instead of: 🇬🇧 London → New York Business £2,500 Try: 🇬🇧 London → Dublin ✈️ 🇮🇪 Dublin → New York Business £1,100 Even after adding the positioning flight, the saving can be huge. 6️⃣ GET ALERTS FOR BUSINESS CLASS MISTAKE FARES 🚨 This is where things get REALLY interesting. Occasionally airlines accidentally publish premium fares at ridiculously low prices. They can disappear within hours. Set alerts for Business Class, not just Economy, and be ready to book when something crazy appears. 🔥 BONUS: Check flexible dates. Moving your trip by just a day or two can completely change the fare. SAVE THIS before booking your next long-haul flight ✈️ #BusinessClass #BusinessClassFlights #CheapBusinessClass #BusinessClassHacks #FlightHacks #TravelHacks #CheapFlights #FlightDeals #LuxuryTravel #Avios #TravelDeals #FrequentFlyer #TravelTips #TripCom #FlyForLess

Only one night staying here before flying away. The room was nice and clean. Beds were really comfy. No bathrobe provided though. There are shuttle service between DFW airport and the hotel which is convince. Over all is good.

The centurion lounge at DFW is at Terminal D and is a good place to relax and grab a bite to eat before your flight. There's also a bar available for alcoholic beverages. The lounge can get crowded, especially during meal times so be prepared for a line up for food. The toilets are also quite nicely designed but they too can be crowded during busy times. Overall a nice place to enjoy something to eat and a drink before your flight. However try to avoid crowded times as finding a quiet corner can be challenging. #lounge #travel #airport #usa #dfw

The Hyatt Place is a 10 min drive from DFW and offers a complimentary shuttle service at every half hour. This is a convenient service as you simply call the hotel and they will arrange to pick you up at your designated terminal at the arrivals area. The hotel has spacious, albeit a bit dated rooms. The rooms offer a living area, which is a good separation of space. There's also a small gym and swimming pool on site. Breakfast is also included and consists of a buffet style. It was a hot breakfast with eggs and sausages, which was a nice touch. I really valued how convenient it was to DFW airport as I needed something close. It was especially nice that there was the shuttle service as well as breakfast included. It was a good stay and had everything I needed for this short stay.

Yes, it actually exists… 👀 You don’t always need thousands to fly at the front of the plane 👀 On some short-haul routes, regional airlines and flash promotions can offer business-class seats for around $40–$60 — especially when you know where to look. 🔥 How to find them: ✈️ Search short regional routes rather than long-haul 💰 Compare the business-class upgrade price against economy 📅 Check different dates — prices can change dramatically 🌎 Look at airlines in Asia, the Middle East & Europe ⚡ Check flash sales and limited-time airline promotions 🔎 Search the same route directly with the airline before booking The trick is not searching for “cheap business class” — it’s finding routes where the difference between economy and business is tiny. Save this for your next trip ✈️🌍 #TravelHacks #BusinessClass #CheapFlights #TravelDeals #FlightDeals #TravelTips #TravelSmart #BudgetTravel #LuxuryTravel #TravelOnABudget #CheapFlightsUK #TravelInspo #TripHacks #BusinessClassFlights #TravelDeals2026

The Grapevine Botanical Gardens are the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Walking through the gardens, you’ll find beautiful flowers, lush greenery, winding paths, and charming little spots that make you want to stop, take pictures, and simply enjoy the scenery. It’s amazing how quickly you can go from the energy of the city to such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. What I loved most is that this is more than just a beautiful garden—it’s a place where you can appreciate the changing seasons, discover different plants, and enjoy the outdoors at your own pace. 🌸🌳 If you’re exploring Grapevine and looking for a relaxing, scenic, and budget-friendly stop, definitely add this place to your list. Sometimes the most memorable experiences are found in the quietest corner

Forget “dress smart and ask nicely.” 😅 These are the real mechanisms worth knowing if you want to get into Business Class without buying a full-price Business ticket. 1️⃣ BOOK ECONOMY → UPGRADE WITH POINTS On airlines such as British Airways, you can buy an eligible cash ticket and use Avios to upgrade to the next cabin. 🔥 The trick: check upgrade availability BEFORE booking the flight. It’s not enough for Business Class seats to be showing for sale — there needs to be the right reward/upgrade availability. 2️⃣ DON’T AUTOMATICALLY BUY THE CHEAPEST FARE This is one people miss. Some of the very cheapest economy fares aren’t upgradeable with points. For BA, for example, the lowest World Traveller fares (Q, O and G) aren’t eligible for Avios upgrades. Paying slightly more for an eligible fare can therefore give you an upgrade route that the cheapest ticket doesn’t. (British Airways) 3️⃣ SEARCH FOR THE BUSINESS REWARD SEAT FIRST Instead of: “Can I upgrade my flight?” Try: “Is there reward availability in Business on this exact flight?” If there isn’t, an Avios upgrade won’t work on BA. 💡 So check reward availability before you buy your economy ticket. 4️⃣ CHECK YOUR BOOKING AFTER YOU BUY IT Don’t assume the opportunity disappears once you’ve booked. On BA, you can log into Manage My Booking → Upgrade this flight with Avios and check whether your booking has become upgradeable. (British Airways) Availability can change. 5️⃣ LOOK FOR AIRLINE “BID YOUR WAY” UPGRADES Some airlines let eligible passengers make an offer for an upgrade rather than paying the published Business Class fare. For example, Air Canada has its AC Bid Upgrade programme, where eligible passengers can submit an offer to move into a higher cabin. (Air Canada) It’s not free — but you can potentially avoid paying the full Business Class fare. 6️⃣ CHECK FOR CASH UPGRADE OFFERS Don’t only look at the original ticket price. After booking, check: Manage My Booking → Upgrade Airlines can display an upgrade price separately from the original fare. Virgin Atlantic, for example, lets passengers check available upgrades through My Booking, and upgrade prices can vary depending on availability/demand. (Virgin Atlantic) 7️⃣ THE REAL “FREE” ONE: USE AN UPGRADE VOUCHER If you collect airline credit-card or loyalty rewards, don’t waste upgrade vouchers on short flights unless the value makes sense. For example, BA cabin upgrade vouchers can move an eligible reward booking up one cabin when availability exists. (British Airways) 💡 The biggest hack isn’t finding a random free upgrade at the airport. It’s learning which tickets are upgradeable BEFORE you book. Save this for your next flight ✈️ And send this to the friend who always pays full price for Business Class 😂 #BusinessClass #TravelHacks #FlightHacks #AirlineHacks #TravelTips #CheapFlights #LuxuryTravel #FrequentFlyer #Avios #TravelDeals #FlightDeals #TravelSmart #TravelMore #TravelInspo #freeupgrade

Before you pay extra for your next trip, check what you’re already entitled to. 👀 There are SO many travel perks that people miss simply because they never ask. Here are 8 worth checking: 1️⃣ AIRPORT LOUNGE ACCESS 🥂 Your bank card, airline status or travel rewards programme could already include lounge access. Don’t automatically buy a lounge pass! 2️⃣ HOTEL ROOM UPGRADES 🏨 Booked a standard room? If you have hotel loyalty status, a special occasion or the hotel has availability, you may be able to get a better room — sometimes simply by asking politely. 3️⃣ FREE BREAKFAST 🍳 Some hotel memberships, booking rates and loyalty benefits include breakfast. Always check before paying for it separately. 4️⃣ LATE CHECKOUT 😴 Need a few extra hours before your flight? Ask! Hotel loyalty benefits can sometimes include late checkout, subject to availability and the programme’s rules. 5️⃣ BETTER SEATS ✈️ Check your airline loyalty benefits and booking options before paying for seat selection. Some memberships and fares include preferred or extra-legroom seating. 6️⃣ EXTRA BAGGAGE 🧳 Frequent-flyer status, premium cards and certain airline benefits can include additional baggage allowance. 7️⃣ COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS & EXTRAS 🥂 Some hotels and premium stays include welcome drinks, snacks, minibar credits or other little extras. Check what’s included before you spend more. 8️⃣ SPECIAL-OCCASION PERKS 🎂 Birthday? Anniversary? Honeymoon? Celebration? Tell the hotel or airline when appropriate. There’s no guarantee, but you might receive a little complimentary extra. 💡 THE BIGGEST TRAVEL HACK? ASK. A lot of perks aren’t automatically offered — and you won’t know what’s available unless you check your loyalty accounts, booking conditions, credit-card benefits and hotel/airline policies. Luxury travel doesn’t always mean spending more. Sometimes it means knowing what you already have access to. ✨ SAVE THIS before your next trip! Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality—y'all made my stay unforgettable. Seriously, your facility is something special! From the cozy vibes to those little luxe touches, I felt right at home. Drover Hotel isn’t just a place to crash—it’s a vibe. Located in the heart of Fort Worth Stockyards (200 Mule Alley Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76164), it blends wild west charm with modern boho chic. Major bonus: You’re steps from epic live music, sizzling steakhouses, and classic Texas adventures. Whether you’re kicking it by the dreamy pool or just chilling in the lobby with that iconic fireplace, Drover Hotel feels like one big warm hug. The friendly staff? 10/10 for making every moment memorable. Appreciate y’all so much! If you’re ever in Fort Worth and want to experience true Texan hospitality, Drover Hotel is a must-stay. 📍Stockyards Cowboy Town This was my third visit, and this time I just took some photos for a quick check-in. The weather was too hot, and we happened to visit during the World Cup, so there were tons of tourists. There are many small shops selling cowboy hats and boots to explore. Additionally, there’s a vintage train that takes tourists on a scenic ride from Fort Worth to Grapevine. Every day at 4:30 PM, cowboys parade through the streets, which is worth checking out if you’re interested. For parking, you can park directly on the street or use the designated parking lots 🅿️, though they are a bit of a walk from the town. You can also pay an extra $5 for valet parking, which is much closer. 📍Kimbell Museum I’ve been to the neighboring Modern Art Museum before, but this was my first time visiting Kimbell Museum. The architecture is stunning and unique (though my photography skills don’t do it justice). Compared to the museum in downtown Dallas, I’d actually recommend this one in Fort Worth. The collection is rich, featuring works by Monet, a personal favorite of mine. Currently, there’s a special exhibition on Ancient Egypt. The museum also has a café where you can enjoy light meals, which we tried and highly recommend. The shop inside offers adorable and unique souvenirs that are definitely worth browsing.

It is not want to waste time to change flights, endure the pain to get the most expensive direct ticket, but the plane is still Delay! And it has to be delayed again and again, really a bit unbearable 😤✈️. Originally thought to land quickly and immediately start the journey, but it turned into a lot of airport torment time, sitting until the butt is numb ~ 🙄 Has anyone tried such a hellish mistake? The journey that was full of anticipation, but the procrastination caused my emotions to plummet. I really want to throw my pillow! 🤯 Do you have any conscientious airlines you can recommend? Next time you book your flight, you really need to avoid the blacklist and don't want to fall into the same trap again😭! Leave a comment and tell me your miserable experience, or if there is a "zero delay" fairy airline to save travelers ~🙌

#Australia Review: I used my DragonPass from the SCB PLANET credit card spending campaign to access the Plaza Premium Lounge at Melbourne Airport for the first time. I have to say, just being able to relax there before my flight felt worth it! The atmosphere was peaceful, and the restrooms were clean. Inside, there are comfortable seating areas, Wi-Fi, charging stations, unlimited soft drinks and alcohol, snacks, and hot meals. There's also a salad bar with plenty of choices, so you don't have to rush and get hungry before your flight. What I especially loved was the coffee bar with freshly brewed coffee – perfect for coffee lovers! This lounge is located in the International Departures zone of Terminal 2. Overall, it's perfect for those with long flights or who want a quiet, peaceful place to rest before their flight. If you have DragonPass benefits or other participating cards, check it out! It's a benefit that really works, making you think, "Wow… this is great!" If you’re looking for something wildly different in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Meow Wolf Grapevine is one of the most immersive experiences you can do. Located inside Grapevine Mills, Meow Wolf blends art installation, storytelling, mystery, and interactive rooms into one massive walk-through experience. You’re not just looking at art here—you’re opening doors, discovering hidden passages, crawling through unexpected spaces, and piecing together a larger story as you explore. Every room feels completely different, with neon worlds, surreal landscapes, strange little details, and moments that make you stop and ask, “wait… what is this place?” It’s fun for adults, older kids, creatives, date nights, friend groups, or anyone tired of doing the same dinner-and-a-movie routine. You can move through it at your own pace, spend time solving the mystery, or simply enjoy the visuals and take it all in. No two people experience it exactly the same. If you want something memorable, weird in the best way, and unlike anything else in Texas, this is your sign.

If you want a sports night in Grapevine where you actually do something instead of just yelling at the TV, Crush It! Sports Lounge is built for that. This spot is all about bookable experiences like multi-sport simulators (you can play virtual sports on a MultiSport simulator setup) plus duckpin bowling and social darts, with food and drinks available on-site. Their duckpin setup has six lanes, and the simulator bays are designed for groups, so it’s an easy pick for birthdays, team hangs, and “we need a fun plan that isn’t another sit-down dinner” energy. #winterescape

Capital One Lounge at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is often regarded as one of the best airport lounges in the United States. After experiencing it firsthand, it's easy to see why it receives so much praise. The interior is modern, spacious, and well-organized, featuring dedicated zones for working, relaxing, and dining. The dining area offers more than just a typical buffet counter; it serves high-quality dishes beautifully plated, including hot meals, snacks, fresh bakery items, and desserts. The flavors exceeded expectations, especially the freshly prepared dishes from the open kitchen. The beverage selection is impressive, with specialty coffee, premium tea, cocktails, and wine. The staff provides excellent service, paying attention to details, and the dining tables are spotless. The atmosphere feels more like a premium café than a typical airport lounge. If you're passing through DFW and have access to the Capital One Lounge, it's highly recommended not to miss it. The experience is distinctly superior to regular lounges, both in terms of food quality and ambiance, making it a worthwhile way to spend your time before your flight.

#January Getaway 2026 Address: 2400 Aviation Dr, DFW Airport, TX 75261 Atmosphere/Facilities: Very large, so be sure to manage your time well. A layover of at least 1.5 hours is recommended. Features: Texas's largest and busiest airport, with terminals A, B, C, D, and E. Skytrain is available. Average Price: Depends on your airfare… Google Rating: 4.1⭐️

#JanuaryDestinations2026 Compared to Delta's 737, it not only lacks a TV screen but also in-flight Wi-Fi... a huge loss! The snacks were also very ordinary... On the bright side, the drinks were very generously sized! The plane was also unusually new! If I had to give it a score, I'd give it 60/100. Nothing memorable, just a safe flight to my destination.
