The foundation was originally established by Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Francis of Assisi, as a charitable foundation to provide education for underprivileged children. This striking neo-Gothic church features a single nave, a rectangular floor plan, transept vaults, and a polygonal apse. #chillandthrill #tropicalretreats #madrid When in Madrid I stayed in a neighborhood named Getafe. It is not too near from city center. Still connected with metro, though. This is an area focused for housing, even though many shops and restaurants too. I snapped some photos here. It is nice to walk around, to see how the real locals live, and to see how it is like outside tourists center.
