Getting There - Gainesville, Florida 🇺🇸 you need to have a car 🚗 to reach to this place- you can rent a kayak for $30 ( few hours) once there:) Attractions - the best areas to go kayaking in Gainesville is Lake Forest. only seven minutes away from downtown. Hotels- there are many inns and Hyatt around Gainesville - however, I will suggest you to get an hotel in town (Gainesville) Food & Restaurants - BBQ and sandwich shops - we love to stop at pit bbq to get ribs and sandwiches! Best time to go is probably around September- May! Worth the wait. Florida Gators flock to Gainesville on football game days and a great place to eat is Miller's Ale House near the new Celebration Village. Standard bar fare, like Nachos are huge portions, but items like the Cajun Shrimp, Mahi-Mahi and grits are delicious as well. The combination of modern and minimalist styles, clean glass curtain walls, and bright lobby made me feel especially comfortable. Upon entering the lobby, the staff at the reception area greeted every guest with a smile and enthusiasm, and the check-in process was very quick and smooth. Room Experience I booked a standard room, but the sense of space in the room surprised me. The interior decoration of the room is simple and elegant, with soft tones that create a warm and homely atmosphere. The bed is comfortable and soft, and the high-quality mattress and pillows provide an excellent sleep experience. The desk area is spacious and bright, and the free high-speed Wi-Fi is very stable, making it easy for me to work or entertain myself at any time. The bathroom design is also satisfying, with a dry and wet separation design that keeps the washing area dry. The shower water pressure is moderate, and the hot water supply is sufficient, making me feel relaxed and comfortable after every shower. The amenities are complete and of high quality, from shampoo and conditioner to shower gel, all emitting a light fragrance. Facilities and Services The hotel's gym is well-equipped, which is a pleasant surprise for me as a fitness enthusiast. Various fitness equipment is neatly arranged, whether it's a treadmill, dumbbells, or other equipment, all well-maintained and very smooth to use. Breakfast is a highlight of the stay. The restaurant offers a rich buffet breakfast with a variety of choices, including fresh fruits, hot eggs, various cereals, and bread. The coffee is rich in flavor, and the combination of Chinese and Western dishes meets different tastes, making me feel energetic in the morning. In addition, the hotel also has a small meeting room, which is very convenient for business travelers. Although I didn't use this service, I observed that the meeting room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, making it very suitable for holding small meetings or seminars. Location The location of the Hampton Inn is also extremely advantageous, as it is located in downtown Gainesville, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. A five-minute walk will take you to some very unique shops and restaurants, adding a lot of fun to my trip. What's more, the hotel is in a quiet area, so you won't be disturbed at night. Summary My stay at the Hampton Inn was very pleasant, from check-in to check-out, every detail reflected the hotel's professionalism and dedication. Whether it's the comfort of the room, the completeness of the facilities, or the service attitude of the staff, I was very satisfied. If I have the opportunity to visit Gainesville again in the future, I will not hesitate to choose this hotel again. Whether you're on a business trip or a leisure trip, the Hampton Inn is an ideal place to stay.

My kids love going to the mall too play and to go too Build a Bear when we can!!

Awesome place to shop for fishing, hunting, or camping gear......my kids love seeing the big fish tank everytime we go!

While staying at this hotel my girls were able to make friends and keep each other company and well entertained up until they all left. Was very nice to see them make friends besides at school!
