Liuzhou Luzhai Xiangqiao Karst National Geopark features natural bridges, caves, canyons, and streams all in one place. The scenery is grand yet tranquil, with many great photo spots. Hechi Sanmenhai is a secret water skylight deep in the mountains, a natural karst cave lake with Tiffany blue water. Boat tours are quite enjoyable, and as long as it doesn’t rain, the water stays beautifully blue. The kids were especially excited to see such blue lake water. Chongzuo Jiangzhou Underground Corridor is a completely natural, undeveloped cave entrance perfect for taking Tomb Raider-style photos. You can book a guide to hike inside the cave and capture even more spectacular photos. Adventure-loving kids will definitely fall in love with this place. Chongzuo Dongna Yuwan is a hidden rural secret embraced by mountains, featuring rice fields, waterfalls, and flower seas. Kids can run freely in the countryside and enjoy the beauty of nature with especially fresh air. Chongzuo Huashan Rock Paintings pitfall version: definitely avoid the 3-hour boat tour route. The correct way is to first navigate to Zhulian Pier, take a 15 RMB ferry to the opposite riverbank, then drive to the Huashan Rock Paintings scenic area Bayao viewing platform. From there, take a short ferry ride directly to the plank walkway below the rock paintings, saving a lot of time. Viewing up close is still very impressive, and kids can learn about the ancient Luoyue culture. Chongzuo White-headed Leaf Monkey Nature Reserve is free to enter. It’s a national nature reserve and research base where you can see rare white-headed leaf monkeys up close. Be sure to visit before 5 PM and drive to a valley location where you can observe them on cliffs on both sides. Bringing a telephoto lens is recommended for clearer photos.
