Singapore Airlines Sale Is On Until 7 October, With Fare Deals to Europe, Australia and More
Singapore Airlines Sale Is On Until 7 October ✈️🌏
Planning A Trip Before March 2027? Save This Guide 👀
If you have been waiting for a good reason to finally plan that next trip, this might be the sign to open your calendar.
Singapore Airlines is currently running a limited time fare campaign for bookings made from 29 September to 7 October 2026, with selected outbound travel dates available through 31 March 2027.
The interesting part is the range of destinations.
You can keep the trip short with a nearby Southeast Asian escape, head towards the Maldives, explore Australia, or finally make that long awaited Europe trip happen.
And because the travel window stretches into early 2027, there are plenty of ways to build the trip around your own schedule.
Here is what to know before searching. ✈️
🌏 WHERE CAN YOU GO?
The current offers cover a mix of short haul and long haul destinations from Singapore.
For a quick escape, there are destinations such as:
🇹🇭 Bangkok
🏝️ Phuket
🇻🇳 Ho Chi Minh City
🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur
If you want something more tropical and relaxed, you can also look towards:
🏝️ Malé
And if you have more time for a longer holiday:
🇦🇺 Perth
🇦🇺 Melbourne
🇦🇺 Sydney
Or go all the way to Europe:
🇫🇷 Paris
🇳🇱 Amsterdam
🇬🇧 London
That is probably my favourite part of looking at a route network like this.
The same departure city can lead to completely different types of holidays.
A three day city break.
A beach escape.
A two week Australia adventure.
Or a proper Europe itinerary.
The destination really depends on how much annual leave you have and what kind of trip you want.
🇹🇭 BANGKOK
Bangkok is an easy choice when you want a trip that feels completely different without needing a huge amount of time.
You can spend your days exploring temples, markets, cafés and neighbourhoods, then switch into food mode at night.
The city is especially good for travellers who do not like planning every minute.
You can have a rough list of places you want to see and still leave plenty of room for spontaneous food stops and wandering.
For a short trip, staying somewhere close to convenient public transport can make a huge difference.
🏝️ PHUKET
If your idea of a holiday is more about beaches than skyscrapers, Phuket gives you a completely different experience.
You can split your time between beaches, viewpoints, old town streets, cafés and boat trips.
One thing I would recommend is not trying to cover every beach in one trip.
Choose an area that matches your travel style and give yourself enough time to actually enjoy it.
A holiday should not feel like a checklist.
🇻🇳 HO CHI MINH CITY
Ho Chi Minh City is another destination that works well for a short break.
It is energetic, chaotic, colourful and full of food.
You can explore central landmarks during the day, stop for Vietnamese coffee, spend an evening trying local dishes and still have time to simply wander around.
If you have more days, the city can also become a base for exploring destinations outside the centre.
And for anyone who loves food, this is one of those places where planning too many activities can be a mistake.
Leave room for eating 😂
🇲🇾 KUALA LUMPUR
Kuala Lumpur is another option that works particularly well for a few days.
The Petronas Twin Towers are the obvious landmark, but there is much more to explore around the city.
You can visit KLCC, walk around Bukit Bintang, explore different neighbourhoods, find local food spots and spend an evening enjoying the city skyline.
It is also a good destination for travellers who want a mixture of food, shopping, architecture and city life without needing a long itinerary.
🏝️ MALÉ AND THE MALDIVES
If you want to slow everything down, the Maldives is a completely different type of trip.
Instead of moving from attraction to attraction, the whole experience can be about beaches, water, sunsets and relaxing.
But there is an important planning detail here.
Do not look only at your international flight.
Check how you will get from Malé to your final accommodation and how that transfer fits with your arrival and departure times.
Depending on where you are staying, the onward journey can be an important part of the itinerary.
Sometimes the flight is only the beginning.
🇦🇺 PERTH
Perth is an interesting choice if you want Australia but prefer a destination that feels more relaxed.
You can combine city time with beaches, sunsets and day trips.
The surrounding region also gives you plenty of opportunities to get outside the city.
If you are planning an Australia trip, remember that the country is enormous.
Do not assume you can easily combine Perth, Sydney and Melbourne in the same short holiday without spending a lot of time moving around.
Pick your region based on how many days you actually have.
🇦🇺 MELBOURNE
Melbourne is a completely different Australian experience.
It is a city that rewards wandering.
Coffee shops, laneways, restaurants, galleries, markets and neighbourhoods can easily fill several days without needing a packed sightseeing schedule.
If you enjoy food and photography, it is particularly easy to spend an entire day simply walking around different parts of the city.
And if you have more time, you can plan day trips outside Melbourne rather than constantly changing hotels.
🇦🇺 SYDNEY
Sydney is probably the destination that comes to mind first when many people think about Australia.
The harbour, Opera House, Harbour Bridge and coastal scenery give you plenty of classic travel moments.
But do not spend your entire trip around the most famous landmarks.
Give yourself time to explore different neighbourhoods, visit the beaches and simply experience the city.
One of the best things about Sydney is that you can combine a proper city holiday with plenty of outdoor time.
🇫🇷 PARIS
Then there is Paris.
If Europe has been sitting on your travel wishlist for years, this could be the kind of trip where planning ahead really helps.
Paris is one of those cities where you can visit the famous landmarks but still discover something new by simply walking another street.
The Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Seine, Montmartre and classic cafés are obvious choices.
But some of the best memories can come from smaller moments.
A quiet street.
A bakery in the morning.
A little neighbourhood café.
An evening walk along the Seine.
Do not turn your Paris itinerary into a race to photograph every landmark.
🇳🇱 AMSTERDAM
Amsterdam is another city that works beautifully for a slower itinerary.
The canals are obviously the star, but the city is much more enjoyable when you leave time for wandering.
You can explore different neighbourhoods, visit museums, stop at cafés and simply follow the canals without having a strict destination.
If you are visiting Europe for the first time, Amsterdam can also work well as part of a larger European itinerary because of its transport connections.
🇬🇧 LONDON
London is one of those destinations where you could return several times and still have things left to explore.
Historic landmarks, museums, markets, neighbourhoods, parks, food and shopping all give you different reasons to visit.
For a first trip, do not try to see everything.
Group attractions geographically.
That way you spend less time crossing the city and more time actually enjoying it.
And leave some space in your itinerary for those random discoveries that never appear on your original plan.
📅 THE IMPORTANT DATES
Here is the part you should save.
🗓️ Sale period
29 September to 7 October 2026
✈️ Selected outbound travel period
Now through 31 March 2027
The travel window is quite useful because it includes the final months of 2026 as well as the first part of 2027.
That means you can potentially build your trip around different seasons.
Planning a year end escape?
Check the available dates.
Want to travel during the early months of 2027?
There is a longer window to explore.
But remember that selected travel periods and blackout dates may apply.
Not every destination will have the same availability on every date.
🎫 ABOUT THE FARES
The fares shown are return fares from Singapore and include applicable taxes and surcharges as listed by Singapore Airlines for the relevant destination.
However, the important phrase is “from.”
The displayed fare is an indicative starting fare, not a guarantee that every date will have that price.
Flight availability can change depending on the travel date, cabin and remaining seats.
So if you already have specific dates in mind, search those dates directly.
Do not assume the first advertised fare will automatically appear when you search.
This is especially important if you are travelling during popular periods.
🧳 BEFORE YOU BOOK
I always recommend checking the complete itinerary rather than looking only at the headline fare.
Look at:
✈️ Departure time
🛬 Arrival time
🧳 Baggage allowance
💺 Cabin and fare conditions
📅 Exact travel dates
⏰ Total journey time
🏨 Your arrival plans
🔄 Any connection involved
A flight can look perfect until you realise that you arrive at an inconvenient time or have a very long journey to your hotel.
For longer trips, the schedule can matter just as much as the destination.
If you only have four days, losing half a day to awkward flight timings makes a bigger difference than it would on a two week holiday.
🌏 THINK ABOUT THE WHOLE TRIP
One thing I have learned from travelling is that booking the flight is only the beginning.
If you are going to Europe, think about how many cities you realistically want to visit.
If you are going to Australia, consider the enormous distances between destinations.
If you are going to the Maldives, check the onward transfer.
If you are visiting Southeast Asia for a few days, choose accommodation that makes getting around easy.
Your itinerary should work as a whole.
Not just on the flight search screen.
📸 MAKE THE MOST OF THE JOURNEY
And if you are the type of traveller who loves taking photos, do not only plan around famous landmarks.
Some of the best travel photos happen between destinations.
A train window.
An airport lounge.
A quiet street early in the morning.
A local breakfast.
A sunset after a long day.
A random café you found while getting lost.
The big landmarks are great, but the little moments are usually what make a trip feel personal.
🌟 SHOULD YOU START PLANNING?
If you already know you want to travel sometime between now and March 2027, this is a useful period to start checking your options.
You do not need to immediately build a complicated itinerary.
Start with three things:
Where do I want to go?
How many days do I have?
When is the best season for that destination?
Then check the flights around those dates.
Once those three pieces line up, the rest becomes much easier.
And honestly, planning the trip can be half the fun.
One minute you are casually checking flights from Singapore.
The next minute you are comparing Paris neighbourhoods, looking at Melbourne cafés or saving Maldives sunsets to your travel folder 😂
