During the siege of Sarajevo, this tunnel connected the city with the outside world and helped transport food, medicine, and supplies. It is not a traditional tourist destination, but it is the capital of the Republika Srpska and the second-largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are no dense clusters of attractions or trendy spots to check in at, which instead allows for a different kind of travel experience—no rushing, just feeling. The Holy Trinity Church in the city center is unforgettable, blending Serbian and Byzantine styles, with a sacred yet exotic aesthetic edge. We sat on a bench outside the church for a long time, doing nothing, letting time flow away in the foreign breeze. That kind of idleness turned out to be a small but genuine happiness. The pedestrian street is short, the shops are low-key, selling only local goods, with a simple, everyday vibe. The Kastel Fortress stands quietly on one side of the city; walking along the stone path on the city walls, you can almost hear the echoes of history. #2023travelwish My trip to Mostar, one of the city of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an unplanned day trip from Dubrovnik. Was told that the main attraction of Mostar, is the Stari Most – the Old Bridge. The Old Bridge was originally constructed during the Ottoman period.The Old Bridge replaced the wooden suspension bridge that had previously existed on site. Another Surprise sight is a statue of Bruce Lee which I come across while exploring.Also worth exploring is the bazaar on the either side of the street which I can try some local food . It was indeed as unforgettable trip . Day trip is definitely too short will hope I will be able to visit her for a free days next time
