The aroma filled the entire forest, and I stuffed myself to my heart's content. Then, I hit up Vals and stayed at the 7132 Hotel just for the famous gray quartzite thermal springs. The vibe there is incredible; inside the pool, light filters through the gaps in the stones, and everyone is quiet and just relaxing, almost like being in a cathedral. The outdoor pool offers an insane view of the gorge. Naturally, I couldn't skip the local food scene and dropped into the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Silver.
