The environment is great, no direct sun, and the air smells of plants and mist (Baie19 fans will be thrilled). There is a $10 fee per vehicle. You can camp⛺/have a picnic🍱/hike🚶‍♂/bike🚴. There is also a steam train that takes about an hour for the full ride. The official website offers free guided activities about history, the forest, birds, and more. 🌟 For a more chill experience, we recommend the Redwood Grove Loop Trail, which takes about half an hour to complete and covers almost all the highlights. The large redwoods are numbered, though I didn’t find them all. 🌟 There is a trail of about 3 hours that mixes forest, hills, and valleys with multiple loops to return midway. There are many forks along the way, so it’s recommended to download an offline map (Google Maps allows downloading a small area). Paper maps are available at the entrance. 🐶 Pets are allowed on some trails. ⏰ Open from 10am until sunset.
