We also stopped at viewpoints like Ponta da Piedade near Lagos for breathtaking vistas 😍😍😍 We also explored picturesque villages like São Brás de Alportel and discovered hidden gems nestled among the rolling countryside. We visited the Algarve's highest point, Foia, near the town of Monchique, for panoramic views of the region. Fortunately, it was a clear day, and we were able to see all the way to the coastline. We then returned to Faro and unwind with a leisurely stroll through the Jardim Manuel Bivar, a lovely park in the city center overlooking the marina. We booked two weeks at a 5-star all-inclusive and received exactly what we expected. There was absolutely nothing we could criticize here. It's a very beautiful hotel situated in a peaceful area. The pool area is stunning and the beach is fantastic. A bus runs hourly to Lagos, costing 1.2€ per person. There's also a hop-on-hop-off transfer that goes up to the cliffs—5€ for a single ride or 6€ for an all-day ticket. Additionally, the train to Faro stops almost right by the hotel, with fares to Albufeira costing 5.2€. It was simply a breathtakingly beautiful vacation.
