Hey guys, I recently went to Tanjong Jara Resort in Malaysia, and it was a dreamy South Seas island vacation. I have to share it with you! 📍The location is superb. It's situated in Kuala Dungun, Terengganu, Malaysia, surrounded by tropical jungle. Just outside the door is a golden sandy beach and the South China Sea. The feeling of being surrounded by nature is wonderful. 🏡The hotel is like a 17th-century Malay palace, with a unique architectural style. There are various room types, including rooftop double rooms, double rooms with balconies, Bumbung rooms, and Serambi rooms. Each room is decorated in a warm and comfortable style. The facilities are complete, with balconies, patios, TVs, safes, air conditioning, and bathtubs, making for a very pleasant stay. 🍱The dining experience is also excellent! There are three restaurants. You can enjoy authentic Malaysian cuisine at Di Atas Sungei Restaurant. Don't miss the seafood, Western food, and local delicacies at Nelayan Restaurant. Every bite is delightful. 🎈There are plenty of leisure and entertainment facilities. Two outdoor swimming pools allow you to enjoy the embrace of the sun and water. The massage and body care services at Spa Village will instantly dispel your fatigue. The library, garden, bar, and fitness center can meet different leisure needs. You can also rent bicycles and inquire about tourist routes, which is super convenient. 📅Check in starts at 3pm, and check out is before 11am, which is very friendly for us tourists. Families with children don't have to worry either, as the child policy is very flexible. Children aged 11 and below can stay for free using existing bedding, and infants aged 2 and below can also use a crib for free. 🏄‍♀️There are also many fun things to do nearby. Dive and explore the coral reefs of Tenggol Island, participate in Malay village life experiences, visit batik and bamboo weaving artisans, and hike with a guide to Chemerong Waterfall. During our trip to Malaysia, we made it to the northern part of Terengganu. Back home in Warsaw, I work at a hotel reception and rarely get my mornings off, so the schedule here felt just as demanding. We were up before 5:00 AM to catch the sunrise at Bukit Keluang Beach. To be honest, I was wiped out and desperate for a decent coffee, but the spot itself was actually pretty nice. The weather played along—it was warm, though incredibly humid. We stood out on the rocks, watching the cave walls shift from gray to warm, golden tones. I have to admit, it was a beautiful sight. The beach has a unique feel to it, with sand mixed with crushed shells. We wandered over to the caves in the middle section of the beach. They have this strange, porous texture that looks a bit like a honeycomb. I’m glad I wore my flip-flops since the sand was wet, though you really have to watch your step on the rocks to avoid slipping. I also spotted a few local dogs and cats roaming around. I always notice them because I have a pet back home and start missing them when I'm away. This beach seems quite pet-friendly. Around 8:30 AM, we grabbed breakfast at Garyana Café with a view of the ocean. The food was simple but hit the spot. Afterward, we headed back to our room for a quick nap, as the sun was already starting to get intense. Later that afternoon, we headed into the city—specifically Chinatown—to try the highly recommended Hainanese chicken rice. The place was pretty packed and loud, which was a bit draining after being on my feet all day, but the food was delicious and really affordable. It was a great day, even if it was a bit intense. The scenery was stunning, but trekking around in this heat can really take it out of you. If you’re planning to visit the caves, definitely check the tide times beforehand so you don’t get stranded by the rising water.

Secured, umpopular but the best, its not in a place to go in the map or any review, but truly, for me, beaches in terengganu is the best place, untouched and secured. For easy going, leisure and unplanned adhoc activities... trip just follow the path along the beach and we found this💖💖💖. Maybe we can just skip the hussle in kuantan and straight to Dungun's beaches.

Our little sightseeing trip in Dungun, Terengganu continued with a stop at Pantai Teluk Bidara. Thankfully, we found an empty parking spot right in front of the public toilet and surau, so we could park super close. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this beach… but the moment we arrived, I got super excited because the view was absolutely gorgeous! With perfect weather and a bright blue sky, the scenery looked even more stunning. The only slight downside was a bit of litter here and there — not too bad, though. I couldn’t wait to jump into the water even though the sun was blazing hot. Who cares if I get sunburnt, right? Haha. The beauty of the beach is enhanced by the rock formations and the hill at the far end. Underneath that hill, there’s a natural cave you can explore if the tide is low. But if it’s high tide, you need to be careful — you don’t want to get trapped inside. On the rocks, there are also natural “tidal pools” — small pools of seawater formed by the rocks. They’re perfect for just soaking and relaxing. We had so much fun hanging out in them, but you do have to watch the tide. Once the water rises, these pools can get deep pretty quickly, which can be dangerous if you can’t swim. #localguides
