Huangyao Ancient Town, Guangxi

Huangyao Ancient Town is a well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty town with a history of over 900 years. The local residents still live here. The ancient town is located in the lower reaches of the Lijiang River, in the suburbs of Hezhou City, and is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. The ancient town is known for its "six many": many mountains, rivers, and caves, many pavilions and towers, many temples and ancestral halls, many ancient trees, and many couplets and plaques. The main streets in the ancient town are all paved with black stone slabs, which are smooth as a mirror after years of wear and tear. Huangyao fermented bean curd noodles are worth a try, and the tofu pudding is also delicious!
