Zhangzhou Jiufeng Zhuilai Hall, feel the uniqueness of ancient architecture Walking into Jiufeng Zhuilai Hall is like traveling back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. This ancient Yang ancestral hall has experienced vicissitudes, but still maintains the unique style of Qing architecture. The architectural layout of Zhuilai Hall is very particular, with a semicircular pool in front, three entrances in depth, and three rooms in width, with the hall name "Zhuilai." Each entrance has unique decorations and components, with delicate stone and wood carvings, flying eaves, and a magnificent momentum. In Zhuilai Hall, you can see many well-preserved cultural relics, such as the large plaque with gold characters and gold frame, the shrine lintel with gold characters and gold paintings, and the "imperial decree" plaque, which witness the history and glory of the Yang family. Every year on the second day of the second lunar month, Zhuilai Hall holds a grand ancestor worship ceremony, where Yang descendants from all over the world gather to commemorate the merits of their ancestors and appreciate the contributions of their predecessors to the family. Jiufeng Zhuilai Hall was announced as the seventh batch of provincial cultural relics protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province in November 2009.
