After traveling to Zhangzhou Ancient City, I have a few heartfelt words to share

Most of my travels are spontaneous🏃‍♀️. Sometimes, I get a sudden urge to explore a themed trip; sometimes, a friend's casual 'let's go' is enough to set off; sometimes, a casual glance at the map decides my next destination. One moment I was just thinking of wandering around Shenzhen🛣️, and the next moment I decided to go to Zhangzhou, over 500 kilometers away. We drove through the night without sleep to reach Zhangzhou Ancient City, unlocking a brand new way of traveling for me. I truly felt the passionate youth, and that moment will stay with me forever. Zhangzhou Ancient City is located in a bustling area, but there is still a bit of tranquility in the early morning🏤. Walking through the ancient alleys, the red-brick arcades and Minnan-style residences, with their historical marks, carry the profound cultural heritage of this ancient city. As tourists with leisurely steps began to appear on the streets, and shops gradually reopened, the ancient city suddenly became lively and bustling. We found a local breakfast shop👩‍🍳 and had a bowl of local tofu pudding with vermicelli, which surprisingly suited my taste. The north entrance allows roadside parking, but spaces are limited. Parking spots in the ancient city are usually full during holidays. Search 'Zhangzhou Smart Parking' to find nearby parking spaces. Parking fees in Zhangzhou are not expensive, and temporary parking spaces are added during holidays to ease the pressure. ‼️Highly recommend watching the puppet show at the Puppet Art Museum. This traditional folk art has a history of over 1,000 years. The puppets in the hands of the performers are vivid and lifelike. If you are a traditional culture enthusiast, don't miss the puppet show. ⚠️The museum is closed on Mondays. Make sure not to miss it. Search 'Zhangzhou Puppet Inheritance and Protection Center'. Single ticket is 68 yuan, children under 1 meter are free. Tickets are non-refundable, so remember to book in advance. If you haven't booked online, you can wait for additional seats on-site before the show starts.
