I departed from Fengcheng City, passed through Hehu Township and Dujiacun Village, and went up the mountain several times along this route. If you take another route in Hehu Township, you can pass through Mount Shenghua. You can navigate by yourself. Mount Yuhua is about 1,169 meters above sea level, which is considered high in the surrounding area. The surrounding mountains are continuous, especially when the weather is clear, you can look into the distance and overlook the surrounding scenery. According to legend, in the second year of the Yuan Kang period of the Jin Dynasty (292), three immortals, Fuqiu, Wang Ningzhi, and Guo Pu, played chess here. On February 1 of the same year, after the three immortals ascended to heaven, the locals built Ziyun Cave on the top of the mountain with stone strips, and erected the archways of the three immortals, Wang, Guo, and Fuqiu, in front of the temple. The temple is elegant and solemn, and the momentum is magnificent, which is the "Zixuan Cave". According to historical records, this cave is the place where the three immortals, Fuqiu, Wang, and Guo, practiced Taoism and left their spirits. There is also a Taoist temple on the top of Mount Yuhua: Zixuan Cave Temple, where a temple keeper lives. Since Mount Yuhua spans three counties, Fengcheng, Zhangshu, and Xingan, there is also a foundation mark built by the State Council. In winter, there is a strong wind and rime on the top of the mountain, and in spring, you can also enjoy the spectacular sea of azaleas. It is also an ideal place for self-driving and camping.
