Erhai Lake in Yunnan

The first stop was Erhai Lake, and my first impression was that the weather in Dali changes dramatically. It was clear skies when I first arrived at Erhai, but later, as I rode an electric bike around the lake, more clouds gathered. Fortunately, the weather was still nice at sunset! My second impression is that the commercialization of Erhai Lake is very obvious, with one side being the lake and the other side filled with guesthouses and those under construction! I feel like there are thousands of guesthouses in the west of the lake. Then I visited several ancient towns. Personally, I found Xizhou Ancient Town to be crowded, but you can see beautiful water lilies there. It's a pity that there are no wheat fields this season! If I were to visit only one ancient town, I would prefer Shuanglang Ancient Town, where the stone roads are more spacious, and there's more to eat. There are many places to watch the sunset, and every alley leads to the east of Erhai Lake. Sitting there, skimming stones and quietly waiting for the golden hour at eight o'clock in the evening. The second stop was Cangshan Mountain. I could see the whole view of Cangshan during the previous day's trip to Erhai. I chose to go up by the Gantong cableway, then hiked 11.5km along the Jade Belt Pathway to the Zhonghe cableway down. Apart from a slight climb at the beginning, it was almost flat and shaded throughout, which is very suitable for outdoor walking, so I ended up taking 25,000 steps. Unfortunately, the scenery was good when going up the mountain, but it was about to rain when coming down, so I couldn't see a clear view of the entire Dali Ancient City from the cableway.
