Yangshuo's Shangri-La, a real-life paradise. During my leisure time on the weekend, I opted for a trip around Guilin. Departing from the city center of Guilin, it only takes 1 hour by car to reach the legendary Shangri-La. This place is like the fairyland described in the Chinese textbooks from our childhood, truly existing in reality. "There is a small opening in the mountain, as if there is light," isn't this the perfect interpretation of Guilin's landscape? Here, you can choose to take a boat to appreciate the beauty of the mountains and waters, or you can opt for a land tour to feel the tranquility and harmony of nature. After visiting Shangri-La, I drove for another half an hour to the bustling West Street in Yangshuo. The nightlife here is extraordinarily lively, with a variety of shops and delicacies that dazzle the eyes. I checked in at two restaurants, each offering unforgettable flavors. The river view at the Lingli Riverside Restaurant is unique, with a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, and you can also enjoy delicious afternoon tea. Here, you can taste the food while enjoying the river view, savoring a moment of peace and comfort. Huoxiaoniu Private Kitchen was recommended by local friends. Their signature beer fish and roasted chicken were a feast to my taste buds. The beer fish was tender and flavorful, while the roasted chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a fragrant aroma. After dinner, I strolled down West Street, found a small bar to sit down, listened to music, and enjoyed the leisurely time. This day was both relaxing and healing, making me appreciate the beauty of life.
