Shwedagon pagoda is located in Yangon city at Myanmar (the former name is Burma). this site is a heritage site with more than 2000 years of history. a must for any visitor to visit at least once in their life time. as visitors are not allow to wear shoes in the compound, I bring along a reusable bag rather than plastic bag, to carry along my shoes. instead to buy bottle water at the site, I bring along my own water bottle to cut down the use of plastic bottle. the entire place is very holy . the statues and buildings are majestic and magnificent. it’s better to visit early in the morning when it’s not so hot . #greentrip
