Xuzhou Guishan Han Tomb

My first stop was Guishan Han Tomb, a national key cultural relic protection unit and a must-see in Xuzhou. 🚉Transportation tips: Guishan Han Tomb is a bit far from downtown Xuzhou. A taxi from Xuzhou Station costs about CNY 20. You can also take the subway and transfer to bus 37, which stops at the entrance to the scenic area. Buses in Xuzhou take a long time to arrive, so if you're traveling in a group, it's more convenient to take a taxi. 🧳Preparation: You can buy tickets for Guishan Han Tomb on Trip.com. Note that tickets are cheaper if you buy them a day in advance. There is no discount for same-day tickets. 🌟Highlights: Guishan Han Tomb is very well preserved. It is the most valuable Han tomb in terms of completeness and the verification of the tomb owner. It is the joint tomb of Liu Zhu, the sixth King of Chu in the Western Han Dynasty, and his wife. After entering, you will first see the unearthed exhibits, and then you will go down to the tomb. After walking through the long tomb passage, you will see the various tomb chambers, the main tomb chamber of the King of Chu, and then the tomb chamber of the queen through the passage. The armory, chariot and horse chamber, and other chambers are all complete. The entire Han tomb is hidden in the belly of Guishan Mountain, which is very impressive. 📝Tips: The scenic area is very convenient, with many free luggage storage lockers. There are not many places to eat in the scenic area, just a simple small restaurant. However, there are many places to eat on the road outside the scenic area, which is very convenient. It is only a few kilometers from the city center, so you can also go back to the city center to eat. After visiting Guishan Han Tomb, you can also visit the Xuzhou Imperial Edict Museum and the Dianshiyuan Stone Carving Art Museum nearby, which are also very impressive.
