My Altay (Yushkaptal village)

The recently popular 'My Altay', I read Li Juan's Winter Pasture a long time ago, along with several other books, and I like her lively and humorous writing style. I never expected it could be made into a film. I specifically searched for some short videos of 'My Altay' and felt that Li Juan's writing is sincere, but the filming seems a bit fake; the scenery looks like it could be found anywhere in Xinjiang. The male lead is too handsome, lacking the temperament of a Kazakh herdsman. In April, I went to Xinyuan in Yining and visited many pastures nearby. Yushkaptal village was the most stunning grassland that amazed me. There, I met friendly Kazakh herdsmen who invited us to ride their tall horses. Riding on the most beautiful pasture, everything was so wonderful. I thought this was the most beautiful grassland in the world, but then I saw videos of Nalati, and realized that such beautiful grasslands are just ordinary in Xinjiang, as long as you come to Xinjiang in the right season
