Traveling to Xi'an, the Qinling Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum and the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum are probably the places to go. They basically constitute the most prolific cultural relics exhibition in ancient Chinese history from Qin to Tang. In contrast, the brilliance of the Beilin Museum is much more fascinating. But if you are a calligraphy enthusiast, or an ancient creator, the Forest of Stones is a paradise. Xi'an Beilin Museum is the earliest museum in Shaanxi. It collects, displays and studies historical inscriptions, epitaphs and stone carvings. It is the earliest and largest collection of art treasures in ancient China. It is displayed from Han to Qing. There are more than a thousand pieces of stone and tombs of various generations. In the Beilin Museum, there are Yu Shinan's "Confucius Temple Monument", Yan Liang "Tongzhou Holy Preface", Ouyang Xun "Huang Wei's Birthday", and other famous monuments, all of which are models of calligraphy lovers from ancient times to the present.
