Jiangxi Shangrao  Three-Day Tour ||| Day1 Shangrao Station (High-speed Rail) -- Wangxian Valley -- Stay at the foot of Mount Sanqing Day2: Mount Sanqing -- Wunvzhou -- Stay in Wunvzhou Day3: Wunvzhou -- Hongling -- High-speed Rail back from Wuyuan Station 🌧️ The weather was not on our side, with overcast and rainy days throughout the three days, but many photography enthusiasts specifically choose rainy days to visit Shangrao, where the misty rain adds a poetic and picturesque atmosphere. 🛖 Wangxian Valley Returning from Wangxian without seeing immortals, the valley has a different charm in the rain~ After the rain, the waterfall group has plenty of water, and walking along the riverbanks, the sound of the waves is deafening. There weren't many tourists when we arrived in the afternoon, so we strolled through the old street, tasted the local delicacies, and didn't have to queue for silly winter melon, immortal fruit, kudzu juice, lantern cakes, or taro dumplings. We could even chat with the shop owners. There was no need to wait for a good photo spot; the valley during the day is a veritable green fairyland. If you don't have a camera, the world hanging on the cliffs is even more suitable for daytime photography. If time allows, you can also climb up to Wangxian Platform to overlook the entire scenic beauty of Wangxian Valley. Around 5 pm, the number of tourists in the scenic area gradually increases, and the best time for night photography is from 18:00 to 19:00, with great photos taken 30 minutes after the lights are turned on at dusk. 📷 Photo spots: Wangxian Platform, overlooking the entire Wangxian Valley; Lanyue Bridge, panoramic view of the cliff area (this is the most crowded spot, you have to be quick to get a good position); Baihe Bridge, framing both Lanyue Bridge and the cliff area. ⛰️ Mount Sanqing The most worthwhile attraction of the trip, although the rain and fog were heavy and the peculiar peaks and stones were almost invisible, the ethereal beauty was still mesmerizing. Jinsha Cableway (closer to the main attractions) requires queuing for tickets. 🍃 After ascending, you can choose a small, medium, or large loop: The small loop takes 1-2h in total, and you can see most of the main attractions, offering a relaxed experience; The medium loop is about 8km, taking 4-5h in total, and is relatively flat and easy. The stairs at One-Line Sky are quite steep; the ox-back stone, turtle-back stone, and peacock stone in Wanshou Garden are almost vertical climbs, often requiring hands and feet, but the scenery is stunning. The large loop is said to take about 8h in total, suitable for those who like hiking and climbing. 🎇 Wunvzhou Emm... It's a pity that there were no iron flowers or fireworks due to the rain, and apart from the Baoyu Tower and the Air Golden Pavilion, there was nothing special, just a pure commercial attraction. 🌾 Hongling In early spring, you can see rapeseed flowers, and in autumn, you can photograph the drying harvest, offering different sceneries throughout the four seasons... In late April, the green mountains and black tiles are complemented by misty rain, half ethereal and half worldly. Although it is an ancient village created after the original residents moved out, the Hui-style architecture fully displays its ancient charm. From the terraced fields, you can escape the city and enjoy freedom and ease. ⚠️ Tips: Try to avoid heavy rain days; All scenic areas in the mountainous region involve climbing up and down, with almost no flat ground; The weather forecast is not very accurate, with rain and sunshine alternating; It is not recommended to dine in the main restaurants within the scenic areas, as the food is mediocre, service is slow, and prices are high; Recommended gear: windbreaker, trekking poles, umbrella, raincoat, power bank, hiking shoes, and a small amount of food to replenish energy at any time.
