I took a trip to Longquan Mountain in Jiangxia and counted the steps—there are 955 in total. The climb to an elevation of 232.5 meters is beginner-friendly, especially with little yellow flowers accompanying the way. Once at the top, the view opens up generously, presenting both the modern town and the ancient Liangzi Lake before your eyes. On clear days, where the water meets the sky, it’s truly refreshing.
