A journey to the light and shadow art palace designed by Kengo Kuma

Architectural features Designed by Kengo Kuma, the exterior uses materials such as granite, glass, and aluminum, presenting a unique shape like the Tateyama mountain range; the interior uses wood produced in Toyama Prefecture, with cedar wood panels arranged in a circle, and sunlight pouring down through the glass ceiling, creating a warm and open atmosphere.  Exhibition distribution - 2F: Cafe & Shop, where you can buy Toyama limited glass products, etc. - 3F-4F: Planning and permanent exhibitions, mainly modern glass art works, with exhibitions changing from time to time. - 6F: Glass Art Garden, displaying Dale Chihuly's spatial art works. Visiting suggestions - You can first learn about Toyama glass art peripheral products in the store on the 2nd floor, then go to the 3rd and 4th floors to visit the exhibition, feel the development context and diverse forms of glass art, and finally enjoy the large-scale installation art of the glass art garden on the 6th floor. - You can enjoy the subtle changes of wood, glass, and light when taking the elevator.
