Don't tell me you haven't heard of this lesser-known Italian town!

Only Italians would make the effort to visit Tivoli every year. This non-mainstream and ancient town is worth a slow visit. The town is home to the Villa d'Este, a World Heritage Site and a summer retreat for Roman nobles. It took over a century to complete. The fountains are amazing. At noon, when the music starts, the fountains dance to the rhythm. The greenery is also great, and the natural oxygen bar is not just a name. The villa has been abandoned and revived several times, and is now a great place to visit, sightsee, and vacation. From the villa's terrace, you can see the whole town of Tivoli, with its green land, ancient buildings, waterfalls, and ravines, like a beautiful oil painting. ☀️Tips☀️ 🚊Take a train from Rome to Tivoli. You can buy a direct train ticket from Termini Station to Tivoli for about EUR 2.6. The journey takes about 1 hour. The first train departs at 9:03 am, and the return trains are at 1 pm, 3:34 pm, and 5:30 pm. 🚌There are buses in Tivoli, but if you can, walk to see the sights you can't see from the bus. 🏡The Villa d'Este is easy to find. Get off at Tivoli Station and follow the signs for about 15 minutes. Tickets are EUR 13 per person. It's open every day, but opens later on Mondays, around 2 pm.
