I finally found a super cool hotel in Tianjin

In-depth experience at the Renaissance Tianjin TEDA Convention Centre Hotel: The charm and strength of a time-honored hotel Recently, I chose to check in to the Renaissance Tianjin TEDA Convention Centre Hotel for another visit to the Tianjin Natural History Museum and the Tianjin Museum. Before checking in, I was worried that as a time-honored hotel, its facilities would be outdated and the service wouldn't be up to par. But after my actual experience, my worries were completely dispelled. Its performance was outstanding. 🏘️️️Room Type/Layout I stayed in the 0961 Lake View Double Bed Suite. The room was spacious and the layout was very reasonable. It had two bathrooms, which was very convenient. The bedding in the suite was soft and comfortable, and the mattress provided just the right amount of support, which was very good for someone like me who travels for business and has high requirements for sleep quality. The room had a wide view overlooking the beautiful lake. During the day, the sunlight streamed in, making the whole room bright and warm. 🛌Amenities/Facilities - Hotel History and Brand: The Tianjin Hotel has stood in Tianjin for many years, and the Renaissance brand has always been known for its high-quality service and comfortable accommodation experience. Over time, with its rich heritage and constantly upgraded hardware and software, it has established a firm foothold in Tianjin's hotel industry. - Location: The hotel is in an excellent location with convenient transportation links. It is close to several subway stations, making it easy to travel by public transport to bustling commercial areas, as well as the Tianjin Natural History Museum and the Tianjin Museum. It's also very close to Vientiane City, making shopping and leisure very convenient. - Lobby and Public Areas: Upon entering the hotel, the open-plan lobby is impressive. The spacious and airy space feels open and relaxing. The warm lighting combined with the simple yet grand decoration style is both fashionable and welcoming. The lobby lounge area is comfortably furnished with soft sofas and uniquely designed coffee tables, making it ideal for business people to discuss work and for tourists to chat and relax. - Dining Facilities: The Executive Lounge is located on the top floor, the 11th floor. Although the variety of dishes is slightly less than some hotels, the quality of each dish is very high. There are uncommon side dishes like Korean kimchi and pickled radish, which, paired with a refreshing beer, take your taste buds on a wonderful journey. The unique flavors are truly memorable. The breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including Chinese hot porridge and steamed buns, Western bread and fried eggs, fresh fruit, and various drinks, catering to different tastes. - Fitness and Leisure Facilities: The hotel's swimming pool is well-maintained at a comfortable temperature. There is also a hot tub next to it, which is very thoughtful for those who are not good swimmers but enjoy relaxing in a hot spring. 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene The soundproofing is excellent. You can barely hear any noise from outside or the corridor, ensuring a quiet resting environment. The hygiene is also outstanding. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, and the public areas are always clean, making for a worry-free stay. 💗Other Tips - There is live music in the lobby bar on the first floor, and the beautiful singing can be clearly heard throughout the lobby. Enjoy a drink here in the evening while listening to music, and all the fatigue of the day will melt away. - Compared to The Westin Tianjin and the Courtyard by Marriott Tianjin Hongqiao, the Renaissance Tianjin TEDA Convention Centre Hotel's suites are larger and have two bathrooms, which is very convenient. The food in the Executive Lounge is of high quality and offers a good variety. The Westin Tianjin's rooms and Executive Lounge are average, with fewer choices of alcohol and food. The staff at the Courtyard by Marriott Tianjin Hongqiao are enthusiastic, and the front desk proactively offered a suite upgrade on the second day, but the Executive Lounge is quite ordinary. The Renaissance Tianjin TEDA Convention Centre Hotel is close to Vientiane City, while the Courtyard by Marriott Tianjin Hongqiao is close to the Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel, the Jin Gang Bridge, and the bridge where the elderly dive. You can choose a hotel based on your needs and preferences.
