Wiang Kum Kam, Chiang Mai

Wiang Kum Kam is an ancient archeological site , in Chiang Mai. The old city was built in the 13th century, by King Mangrai. It is believed to be the first Lanna capital , of the famous Lanna kingdom that enveloped Chiang Mai and areas around it. The main temple is Wat Chedi Liam, which is the key highlight of the tour. You can rent a horse buggy to get around , just to get the feel of the ancient sites.
