#easytravelpost One thing I really love about exploring Singapore is how easy everything can be. Tonight, I got off at City Hall MRT, had dinner at Raffles City, and instead of rushing anywhere, I simply walked across the road to CHIJMES. And just like that… dinner turned into an unexpected evening discovery. The moment I stepped into CHIJMES, the atmosphere changed completely. The beautiful heritage church was glowing under the night sky, while projection lights danced across its historic façade, turning the old architecture into a giant living canvas. The arches, windows and intricate details looked even more dramatic under the moving lights. I stood there for quite a while just watching, thinking how incredible it is that such a beautiful heritage site is literally just a short walk from the MRT and surrounded by restaurants and city life. No taxi. No complicated journey. No planning needed. MRT → dinner → a short walk → CHIJMES → and suddenly, a magical night. This is the kind of Singapore evening I love—easy, spontaneous and full of little surprises. Sometimes you don’t need to plan an entire night. Just get off the MRT, follow your feet… and see where Singapore takes you. #hotdiscussions #citynightscapes

Touchdown in Singapore and ended up at the super-convenient Carlton Hotel Singapore – right smack in the city center! 🏙️ What I loved most: You’re steps from City Hall MRT, crazy-good food courts, and all the iconic city sights. Literally, you can stroll to Marina Bay or bugis for shopping in minutes. The beds here? Totally dreamy – perfect after a long day exploring.

Here’s my quick experience recap and why I’d totally book again:

Room comfort is next-level: Spacious, spotless, and modern, with a separate shower & toilet, comfy beds, and epic city views (ask for a high floor!). Wifi is solid for work or TikTok uploads. Gym buffs: the 24-hour gym means jet lag won’t wreck your workout. The pool is a total chill spot with plenty of sun loungers.

Service was on point. Staff are genuinely friendly, check-in was easy (they even helped me with an early arrival!). If you need anything, just ask – super responsive. Value for money is fantastic considering its prime location and facilities – it just makes exploring so much easier.

⚡️My quick takeaways:
· Stay here if you want to be in the heart of Singapore, walking distance to everything.
· Don’t skip breakfasts nearby – try ya kun kaya toast at Raffles City mall.
· The pool has one of the better sunset views in the city!
· If you’re picky about cleanliness, do a quick check when you get your room and ask for touch-ups if you spot any issues.

Getting around: The hotel is right by City Hall MRT, so you can zip anywhere in Singapore in minutes. Taxis and buses are always nearby too.
