Dessert heaven!

We celebrated our friend’s birthday at Hoshino coffee at Holland brunch. I’ve been here for a few times for their matcha pancake ( must be good enough for me to come back), it’s still so nice and fluffy!! The matcha pancake here really taste like one of those that I’ve eaten in Japan, so flurry and rich 😋 We also ordered a soufflé custard Flavor, but we didn’t enjoy this as much. The soufflés itself is already too sweet, can’t afford to eat it with the custard cream. We also find it too eggy and “wet” in the middle, not sure if it’s underbaked. French toast was not too bad, but is also very sweet 🥲 I guess Japanese have sweet tooth! Mains are surprisingly good! We love the Hoshino pasta, it’s not too oily and not too creamy. The omu curry rice is not bad too, although the egg is not what we expected. Coffee is just average, but I think it’s also because Japanese coffee are usually very acidic. Overall I think is still a nice place for coffee and pancake!
